My god, shit is getting so real on Dexter. I can actually feel them nearing the ending climax of the series already.
Anyway, I don't think Hannah tries to kill Deb as the promo hints. She's been killing for too long to be dumb enough to leave evidence like that in the car. I have a feeling it has something to do with the meds Deb is taking, else why the suggestive close up in the most recent episode? And I don't think Deb would go so far as to kill Hannah herself either (as people are saying she would), there just isn't enough motive for Deb to abandon who she is and actually murder a person. She is the law.
Isn't Deb holding the bottle, Dex is gonna find after her accident? Maybe Hannah does have something to do with it. She loves Dexter. Or she thinks she does. Deb is in her way, so she does what she always does to solve a problem: She takes the poison.
So, not only LaGuerta, also Matthews is closing in on Dexter. That's not good. Killing one cop is hard enough. But two? Maybe it would be a good idea to take Hannahs help on this. Although: Two hard attacks killing two cops within a short period of time? Can it be more obvious?
Exactly my theory. Deb could have taken too much of her medication and the accident could be an accident. But on the other side: If Hannah has the feeling Deb wants to get between her and Dexter, is killing her exactly what she'll normally do. But on the promo it does look like Deb makes it to the hospital. Most of Hannahs victims don't.
Exactly it's not the first time Hannah is killing, she has been doing it for long enough not to leave evidence behind and wise enough not to go after Deb cz she knows Dex loves his sister. It has something to do with Deb's meds and even if Hannah would try to kill Deb she wouldnt reach Hospital as most of Hannah's victims dont. I just hope it doesnt create misunderstanding between Hannah and Dex as i love them. Hannah really looked hurt when Dex accused her.Dexter really needs to handle things well in the next episode or he might end up losing either Debra or Hannah.
I think last ep is going to be a turning point - Dex killing someone just because he can and wants to, not "compelled" by his dark passenger and the person meeting the code. I think this opens up for him to contemplate killing Matthews and LaGuerta.
I've got a feeling that if he does or doesn't manage to, this will make him reflect on what Hannah has "done to him" or how she's impacted him and his thinking. I wonder how they will play this out without being repetitive. If this becomes another "mistake letting someone in, let's kill that person (e.g. Miguel, Lilah) that will make the storyline mean nothing.
Is it too much to want Dexter to have his happy ending?
I think Deb deliberatel takes too much medication not enough to die but enough to pass out and then she canlay the blame on Hannah, She cleary says that she wold do anything to protect Dexter, I think that the season finishes with Hannah killing Mathews or Laguerda for Dexter. It may be that doing that puts Deb on her side. It will be interesting to see if they resolve the Hannah/Dexter conflict that will proably come up. CantWait
What Hannah has done is to make Dexter take responsibility for what he does and not blame it on some demon inside of him which he calls Dark Passenger. I don't know if he will kill Laguerta or Mathews, but if he does,it wont reflect on what hannah has done to him,cz she hasn't done anything, all she's been trying to do is to help him understand that its him who likes killing and not some Dark Whatever. So Dexter and Hannah may have some misunderstanding in the next ep but i can say for sure that after all that i have seen and that has happened between Dexter and Hannhah is that Hannah is going no where. And Dexter might just get his happy ending with Hannah, though i can see season 8 is going to be pain in the ass for Dexter.
I think this is entirely possible as well, but is Deb really that desperate and obsessed with getting rid of Hannah to go that far and put her own life in danger? It might just be purely Deb overdoing her medication, but it'll serve to make Dexter doubt Hannah for the episode. I personally think (and hope) Hannah's trustworthy for Dexter, plus Hannah's not dumb - I'm sure she's smart enough to know the chain of consequences hurting Deb would cause.
I think the next episode is going to solidify whether or not we can trust Hannah for sure.
I'm worried because of how she reacted to the idea that her father is "gone"...Hannah is really hard to figure out. I can't tell if she's sincere or not....or what the heck she really wants in life, but what if her dad was right. That everything nurturing about her this false facade...
I want Dexter to have a happy ending too, but more and more, especially since the last few episodes of last season, Dexter is slipping away and becoming someone else and I am not sure it's for the better. The fact that he could ask himself deep questions I thought was his saving grace, made him less psychopathic, and set him apart from all the other killers. If he can't do that, not follow a code that (when he sticks to it) usually helps himself, I can't see how he won't eventually really be on the run for his life.
Yes, but the fact that he thought he had something to fight or listen to (his DP) is what kind of held him together and kept him alive/safe and maybe form him hurting those that didn't deserve to be hurt.
Although there is surely an argument that taking responsibility should make him fear what he does, it might not. It might give him a freer licence to not care about whom he kills and what he has all tried so hard to hold onto (Deb/Family), because I think he feared not living up to Harry's expectations...
It's hard to say IMO if Dexter can just get rid of DP, or if something bad is going to happen and it's just going to switch persona's again...and if that happens will he still care about Deb?
I'm actually amazed at how Dexter has kept Hannah away from his personal life and after seasons 2, 4, and 6 I'm glad he has learned something, considering how out of his element his experience this season has been, although at the same time he hasn't been with them much either, which is partially due to Isaak.
I don't think it's his Dark Passeger that kept him safe or alive,it's harry's code. Dark Passenger was just an excuse or something to blame for what Dexter does. That's why inspite of being a good human being and a good person he never felt guilt in his concience. Honestly i never believed this Dark Passenger thing.I always knew it was him. Finally now that he has realized it,he knows that all those people he killed was him not his Dark Passenger,he is responsible. That's why for a moment he could not even bear the thought of him killing people.I don't how it will turn out for him now that he knows that actually it's HIM who loves killing.Maybe from now on whom ever gets in his way ot try to hurt the ones he loves,he wouldn't care if he is a criminal or not he would just kill them.Or maybe he will still have Harry's code and kill bad people.or maybe even would never kill again.Or be like normal serial killers, killing whom ever you feel like innocent or not.But whatever it would be,atleast now he knows it would be him,he would be responsible. Just because now he knows his dark passenger never existed wouldn't turn him into some monster or something.I mean yes it would bring a massive change but not caring about him family and sister is not one of the.As i said before Dexter is a good human being by nature and a caring person. I think Hannah understand Dexter better than anyone, better than Harry, better than he himself. They love each other to the limit that they would kill that person who tries to hurt the other one.Yes as i said they might have some misunderstanding in the coming final two ep but they would solve it out by the end of the season. So if you ask me i am glad he is out of that annoying idea of having a Dark Passenger. No mater what the consequnces maybe.
Well of course it is him, but it might psychologically matter to his own future (and the future of other characters) if he thinks so or not, especially when the DP takes on a specific persona, as even though I would argue Harry made some bad choices in his life, I can't deny he meant well and has provided Dexter with a voice of reason.
I care about it very much, because I would hope that he would never hurt Deb, or let others hurt Deb (physically), as I felt their relationship is a rock they both have needed to survive in the world.
She didn't say anything, but I think she suspects that he didn't just "talk" to her father.
Her father was probably right. What Hannah shows us is probably just a facade. It's not just her habit to poison everyone in her way. Remember when Dex tried to kill her the first time. She didn't even blink with an eye. She challenged him "Do what you've got to do".
Okay... call me crazy but am I the only one hoping that Mathews knows about Dexter... about who he is... from Henry Morgan? Remember those cops were friends...! Maybe he is keeping an eye on Dex for Henry???? :) Ok, I know it's little off... but can you imagine? :) Old capt kills Laguerta to because of promise to Henry? That would be a twist! :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteHas Hannah even met Harrison yet?
ReplyDeleteThey act like they are a serious couple, yet she has not met his kid yet?
The show loves bouncing around between how bad or good Hannah is. I think at the end she'll be shown to be a good person.
ReplyDeleteI think she is a good person for those whom she loves. And she loves Dexter.
ReplyDeleteDexter:Turns out maybe you understand me better than i undertsand myself.
ReplyDeleteHannah:I love you.
Dexter:I think i love you too.
KISS
Me:Awwww
She saw them at the beach like two (?) episodes ago, and I can see why he keeps her away from his kid for now ;)

God woman you have some serious grudge against Hannah.
