Eh, I thought the show had a lot of potential after the first season. However I felt the second season was more rushed and lost some of what made the first season good.

  5. WTF?! I do hope he's worrying for no reason :(

  6. I agree. I watched all of season 2 buit to be honest towards the end it was a struggle as I was begining to loose interest. I thought the ending was good though, but surprised they went with a cliff-hanger if there was no guarantee of season 3.

  7. Remember folks this is what HE thinks, best wait for the official word from SyFy before jumping to conclusions. Who knows, the negotiations may just be taking longer than they thought, plus longer negotiations doesn't always mean 'Cancelled'

  8. It took Haven forever to be renewed in previous years. Maybe he's just worried.

  9. No, no no! Not with that ending oh god so not fair. Once again Sy Fy fucks up. Surprise surprise.

  10. Since its not official i will just waist and see.

  11. No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WHY? Why? I can't fucking understand Syfy anymore, canceling shows that aren't worth canceling. No :( Ruined my Christmas ;(

  12. I'm actually gonna assume it's not cancelled. Yet. I thought S2 was amazing. There's obviously alot more going on behind the scenes than we're privy to. It seems to be in the same situation Haven was in after it's 2nd season.

  13. I personally could take it or leave it. Season 1 was pretty awesome, and had me glued, but season 2 has been underwhelming to say the least. I missed a few episodes just because I forgot I watch the show (if that says anything), then rather than catch up I just watched The Voice instead. I did try to catch the repeats later at night, or on Saturday sometimes, but I have no idea where the story was going or even ended up, because I lost interest.

Didn’t the original showrunner leave the show before the second season? I recall something like that. At any rate the quality of the show went down this past season.

    Let the downvotes flow.

  14. I feel the same, but unfortunately I lost interest before the season ended. I was planning on catching up on demand, or via the internet, but not if it ends up cancelled.

  15. Unfortunately, Cartwright is probably correct. There's still time for a renewal but the outlook is grim. This blows because the show really improved throughout season 2. The decision to bring Kat on board was a good one along with the decision to narrow the show's focus to Parish and his group of terrorists.

  16. i disagree bringing kat in ruin the team bond and felt they pushed gary to the background and lost intreast as sason 2 went on

  17. Ryan posted this update.

@RyanCartwright Deleted the #Alphas tweet. Was informed that they're still deliberating. Will reapply crossed fingers for a 3rd season. #AlphasS03!!!

  19. ..in the petition web site i create a petition that said Renew Alpha Series is located in the session of education,tv and something else if more people sign that request the final score is send to the network by email i think is a good push fan support that make the decision to renew more fast

  20. I am getting tired of their postponement. This is the second tme. It shouldn't take 3 months to decide after the season is over.

  21. *fingers crossed* Please Sy Fy don't make me hate you more than I already do.

  22. i really hope there will be s03 as i think s02 was so much better than s01 so things can just get better and better

  23. Syfy... only to make sy-trashes movies...
stop cancel GOOD series to make this trashes movies.
You did this to Caprica making all stories confused, turned Blood and Chrome into a little webepisodes, killing all history about BSG (im going to be crazy with re imagined Battlestar Galactica timeline) . You canceled Eureka for nothing, now doing this with alphas????
WHERE IS YOUR "SYFY GAME CHANGE"????
maybe in a black hole or.... in some light-years from its programming series
(Sorry for ctrl+c/ctrl+v, but im mad with syfy)

  24. Totally bummed if this is true, but give that the ratings especially towards the end of the summer run were not great, I can see SyFy making this possibly bad move (along with not picking up Blood and Chrome to series )

    ReplyDelete
  25. How have I missed that? Don't tell me that Alphas is canceled! We deserves at least one last season, especially after the cliffhanger.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thank you Syfy. This show was overrated from the get go. I watched 4-6 hours of the series and I just
couldn't watch it anymore. I didn't like any of the characters or the roles they played and I was bored to death.

I can't believe Syfy chose to pick up Alphas instead of the show Three Inches with James Marsters (Spike from Buffy). Idiots! At least, James Marsters has a huge fan following.
