    Well Damon only compelled her to do every single thing he wanted, including being his blood bad and sex buddy, so pretty much raping her. And then you know, tried to finish her off and kill her all together not once but twice. So maybe she has a right to be a little judgy.



    And Damon is once of my favorite characters just to clarify, but I cannot with delusional delena fans. You guys seriously thing someone who was emotionally and physically abused by this guy should be jumping for joy when she sees her best friend getting into a relationship with him. Because I am sure that is how all delena fans would act if a similar situation occurred to them.

    I see Caroline's motivation, but from a fans perspective...

    Caroline has killed multiple people, some innocent. She conspired to kill her boyfriends friend last episode. Her friend Stefan, the one she cares about here, was ripping people limb from limb for months. He compelled Andi to kill herself, an offense that I don't think has ever been properly addressed. The guy she's on a date with killed the last of her best-friends family, and cares a lot more about turning Elena into his blood-bag again than he does Caroline. He treatened to kill Caroline himself last week. Since then, Damon has saved her, her mother, her boyfriend and her best friend - all more than once.

    I mean, I'm absolutely good with Caroline being anti-Damon - yay Drama! - but she doesn't get the highground from a fans perspective. Not with Klaus as a love interest, not while having killed, not while being Team-Stefan who is objectively just as bad as Damon.

    And the "rape" bit is questionable. I guess there will always be an argument for how far Damon took his compulsion. I'll just say that he had her in his bed before he ever needed to compel her, and that his compulsion was more about accepting him feeding - like they made clear with Andi to avoid that... grossness.

    unfortunately, people like you are too obsessed with their extremely intelligent pun of "DElusional" to understand whose thoughts are actually delusional. it is true that Damon was horrible to Caroline in the beginning, but it is so sad that you cannot see anything called character development, which is the whole point of Damon's character in the show. if you haven't noticed, Damon has saved Caroline's life MULTIPLE times after first treating her so terribly, and so even though it is understandable that Caroline hold a grudge, she shouldn't force her best friend to stop loving who she already loves because Damon's apology, since he doesn't apologize verbally, has been through saving her life AND Tyler's life (and many other's) later on. Caroline is a great character, and we all love her and understand why she could hold a grudge but if my best friend was deeply in love with someone who had once treated me badly but then *made up for it by saving my life*, I would never object to it, and I'm sure neither would you.

    please, just stop with the whole "Damon raped Caroline" thing. unless you're 12 years old, you can distinguish rape from simply mistreated. what Damon did to Caroline was mean, and insensitive but his character has developed a lot from that point, and he did end up saving the lives of Caroline and her loved ones later on. before you use rape, please look the word up in a dictionary and then see if you can progress with your Damon hate.

    First, I wasn't using a pun first off. I was stating that some Delena
    shippers happen to be delusional in regards to the Damon character.
    Just because you see the letters DE next to each other, doesn't mean I
    am trying to be a smart-ass.

    Second off, character devolpement
    doesn't mean a character evolves in the way *you* want them to evolve.
    Damon has evolved over time, and your right that he has saved the gang
    numerous times, but that doesn't absolve him on all the bad things he
    did to each individual person. Caroline has no reason to forgive Damon.
    He saved her a couple of times after months of torture. Just because a
    individual does a good deed, doesn't mean their bad deed is forgotten by
    the person it was done to.

    Third, Caroline isn't stopping Elena
    from loving who she wants to love. She is expressing her opinion on it,
    which is what a good friend would do. In real life, when you see your
    friend with someone you feel is a bad person, you are going to tell
    them, and there might be confrontation that comes along with that, but
    there is no way you can stop them from doing what they want to do. So
    how is anyway, Caroline closing a door on Damon, making her stop Elena
    from loving who she wants to love? This is why some fans seem
    delusional. Because if they thought no one in the group was going to
    bring up the fact that Elena and Damon getting together wouldn't bring
    any tension in the group, they are delusional. If they anyone who was
    every abused by Damon should just roll over and accept it, they are
    delusional. That's not what rational people would do in real life, so if
    it happened in a show, it would be crap writing.

    Once
    again, Damon is one of my favorite characters, I even ship Delena, and
    couldn't care less about Stelena. But the hate Caroline is getting from
    the fandom is beyond stupid.

    I think that the closing door scene is right before the scene which is in promo (Elena needs to talk with Damon - on the stairs) because when you look properly you can see someone behind Caroline in the room and then is take on Elena .
