Thanks to everyone who wrote in. It was fun to think of theories and explanations and of course to just talk Supernatural. Hope everyone had a great return to the work week.
ReplyDeleteI think regarding Crowley and the angel blade - he used the blade that belonged to Alfie - he used it in the beginning of episode to torture the angel, and in the showdown with Castiel he pulled it out - I think in a similar way like he brought the Death's weapon (however it is called) in the episode where Dean had a first meeting with Death to get his ring. At the time Crowley made a comment something like "Hello, king of crossroads" when asked where he got the Death's weapon from (cannot remember the exact line), but the point is that he got it instantly, which I think is similar to the situation with the instant appearance of the angel blade in Crowleys hand. Most of the time the click of his fingers makes things and people appear and disappear, so there might be some connections to that ability, although he did not click the fingers to get the blade.
ReplyDeleteThe point is that I do not think Crowley is an angel, also then the devil's trap should not affect him as well.

Your English is excellent. Don't worry about it. You make yourself perfectly clear. I am not surprised at all that Crowley had an angel blade to pull on Cas. My issue was that Cas pulled an angel blade on Crowley. In an angel vs demon fight, we've never seen that to my knowledge. Cas simply palm zaps the demon and the fight is over. By pulling an angel blade on Crowley it seemed to imply that Cas thought Crowley was something more than just a demon which I think is why people have begun to question what Crowley is.
ReplyDelete..may be crowley is metatron but god punish him to try to leave him erasing his memory REMEMBER only few angel works beside GOD.that could be the CLICK may be i just guessing but imagine if thats true ..!!WHAT A BOMB.!! Crowley could had angel power but in a control way because GOD ALLOWS THAT
ReplyDeleteWell that is possible. But we see Meg use the angel blade on hell hounds. So maybe it was back up type thing and an angel blade is effective against demons, just not AS effective as it against angels. Cas was also not at full power. We also could assume that Crowley takes a bit more mojo to murk as it is. It could also be one of those "Hey this looks pretty cool" type of shots. I'm sure you've noticed some of the odd things this season. Like Cas trying to smite a leviathan in purgatory via palm smite lol. Unless Crowley is WAY more than he let's on, Raphael saying "You let the demon go and not your own brother?" was good enough to me to say Crowley was a demon. Plus the smoke and eye thing this season.
