EW/ InsideTV has a touching look at Ryan Hurst's effort to say goodbye to his character Opie on Sons of Anarchy by shaving his beard with the help of a few other Men of Mayhem and a samurai sword. Viewers know how incredibly powerful his death scene was and it appears it was just as profound for the actor himself.

    I think it was evident how emotional the scene was for everyone involved.

    To get at the performance he gave in that scene he had to connect on such an emotional level I'm not surprised that Hurst had a death reaction to the loss of Opie. Beautiful to see the brotherhood of the cast on film.
