First of all, yay for Surprise! Mr. Belding as the judge. I loved that.
Loved the Barney/Robin storyline! The fact that Barney was being so mature about the situation was amazing and he's in the right.
But now the ball is 100% in Robin's court and she needs to make that first move to get him back. It's all up to her now. And I'm glad she realized she wanted to be with him at the end.
LOL at Badass!Lily and the group being scared by the guy in the courtroom.
Aw, good for Marshall! That's awesome for him! Again, Robin and Barney good as friends, blah blah blah, enter derogatory remark on any romantic interaction between the two, etc etc.
Loved this episode, it was very and kinda sad but Robin. Girl, it's about time she woke up now the ball is 100% in her court she needs to fight and fight as much as she can for Barney cause that look said it all. She loves him! I really like that Marshall and Brad are still friends cause they were great together and it was nice of Brad to help him make that decision about becoming a judge. Love this friendship! Loved seeing mah Scooter again he's just so adorable and badass Lily was fun too. LOL at magician Barney and yeah for Robin Sparkles return.
LOVED the twist! I figured Marshall attacked Brad in the courtroom or something and was in a suspension hearing. But Marshall as a judge? LOVE it. I think he'd do well.
I debated between great and awesome. But didn't want to give the episode the maximum points, so "great". This was actually the first episode this season where I felt that things are good and in balance. Each character got a bit screen time, and we could see the whole gang together in many scenes. Those episodes are always the best. I finally felt in this season that each character has a purpose and a story line going - I hadn't felt that with the previous episodes. It was great too see an episode focusing mainly on Marshall. And of course I loved the Barney/Robin scenes!
The last two episodes have been a vast improvement over the previous ones, almost like a "back to shape" vibe. It just gives me the vibe that the writers didn't knew how to write the characters in other relationships and how to make these interact with the core cast. Quinn, Victoria and Nick were victims of sloppy writing when there exits could have been so much more meaningful.
Alas, the writers are back on the area where they feel more comfortable, so I hope that the quality keeps improving till the finale!
without being their best episode of the season it was still funny. the joe manangiello (or however you write it) parts cracked me up, he is good at comedy
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
