Thanks to Jenni for the heads up.
Mila Kunis is getting into the producer game. The CW has picked up a 1970s-set woman’s lib drama from the actress, who isn’t expected to have an on-screen role.
The project is titled Meridian Hills, and here’s the official pitch: “Set in a boozy Midwest country club circa 1972, when the push for the Equal Rights Amendment was just beginning, a young, newly married woman joins the Junior League, discovering an eclectic group of other young women who become unlikely allies in her quest to change the system.” Kunis will serve as an executive producer on the project.
