“HART OF DIXIE” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET)

“Blue Christmas” (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

MEMORIES OF CHRISTMAS PAST — Zoe (Rachel Bilson) finds herself anxious that her ever-critical mother will be visiting BlueBell soon for the holidays. In order to avoid spending quality time with her mother, she busies herself with a patient, but potentially ruins Christmas Eve for the whole town. Patrick Norris directed the episode written by Leila Gerstein (#210).

  1. I've said it before but it bears repeating. Zoe needs to stop caring about what people think of her so damn much. It's the one thing she can learn from Wade. He couldn't care less about what anyone thinks of him except for Zoe.

  2. i completely agree. this show is getting a little to repetitive and their attempts to keep the love triangle alive are making zoe quite unlikeable.

  3. I have no problem with the triangle. I think the show is handling it relatively well by keeping George away for the most part. I don't think Zoe is screwing up any worse than Wade is.

It's Zoe's image-conscious nature that bugs me. That ridiculous plot about her university's newsletter saying she retired a few episodes back was maddening. That's the exact kind of thing Zoe shouldn't give a damn about.

  4. why do i see zoe hurtin wade in dis ep. she mite be ashamed an wudnt want her mom to meet him

  5. I think that's likely, but it would be sweet if her mother saw past that. If she actually witnesses Wade being Wade and helping Zoe out (as he always does).
So I feel even if Zoe does end up acting all Zoe like, it might turn out well for Zoe/Wade in the end.
