Looks like Dexter is not off to a good start with his future father-in-law (just kidding, it's probably not going to end well). I wonder why Dexter is grabbing him by the throat like that. Also, Yvonne is so lucky having two awesome actors play her father (Gary Cole on Chuck and Jim Beaver on Dexter).
Also, the stuff with Laguerta is getting exciting. I wonder if she will survive this season.
I actually like the fact that she dies in book 1. I just don't like her in the show. She's a vicious beast. I normally like that. But just to a certain degree. And she goes too far for my taste. But hey, there is no business as dirty as politics.
I like Astor and Cond in the books. Dex teaching them. Awesome. And Deb knowing since book 1. But if you ask me she takes too long to get along with it.
I just meant that there are no brothers in Dexter, at least not those. And how do you get from potential bad guy to the fact that he was more of a father to the Supernatural boys than their own? ;D
Sorry. Now, that I read my original comment again it is pretty unclear. I was jumping between the shows.
I just meant that he seems like the potential bad guy on Dexter. And that this is weird to me cause he was a good person on Supernatural and like a father to the brothers.
Potential bad guy: Hannah was shocked when she saw him at her window and I saw in her mind how she was running for it. And Dex was threatening him. Obviously daddy is not welcome. You may ask why. What happened? Why is he here? If Dex wants to get rid of him, he is not here on a social visit. As to the brothers: Dean and his dad had fights, but they mostly got along. Although daddy wasn't home much. And Sam never got along with his dad. He never wanted to be part of the hunting party. And, I don’t know exactly, which season it was, but the brothers discovered that their dad had a wife and a son in some small town. No one knew. He was there on holydays, was going with his son to games, … And for the past few seasons Bobby was their friend, their guide and the one they considered family.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Bobby!
ReplyDeleteWhy do I have this feeling that the fire expert is the killer? He's got crazy eyes =P
ReplyDeleteThat was my first impression as well :)

Mine too
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely possible
ReplyDeleteLaGuerta surviving the season: Probably not.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird to see him as a potential bad guy. But he was more father to the brothers that their real father. He was always on a hunt.
ReplyDeleteshe did die in book one and in season 7 - all bets are off, a major cast member is usually killed off

Wrong show.
ReplyDeleteJim Beaver AKA Bobby from Supernatural. Nor sure what you meant.
