Don’t look down, because sources tell TVLine exclusively that the latest DC Comics Universe villain coming to Arrow is none other than… Vertigo! However, we hear that the character will be very different from the Vlatavan count in the comics — so much so that he’s likely even getting a new name. On the other hand, the deadly new drug that becomes all the rage in Starling City in the Big Bad’s introductory episode (set to air in early 2013) will be called Vertigo!

ok I see what they did there happy more DC Comics Universe villains are coming to the show also may be they can use some of the B to Z list Villains make them over then use them on the show
ReplyDeleteInteresting. It appears that this show's overall approach may be to reinterpret the DC Universe in a more real-world fashion as opposed to sci-fi. If it continues to be as good as it has been, I have no problem with that plan.
ReplyDeleteIt's good seeing DC villains but I hope Nightwing makes an appearance, maybe not his season but sometime in the future since they already mentioned Bludhaven in the last episode
ReplyDeleteThis would be so much more dramatic I'm sure if I knew anything about the comics. All I can say is that from a non-comic standpoint, Arrow is consistently hitting it out of the park. Best new show this season for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure DC Comics wouldn't be offended if you decided to buy a bunch of back issues and catch up. :-D
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm sure they would be ecstatic. I however am not a fan of comic books and have no intention of working that hard to find out what they are changing in the series or finding things to nitpick. I'll leave that to people who are already invested in that world and continue to watch this show in ignorance. I have a feeling I will enjoy it much more than others that way. It's kind of like when I see a movie after I've already read the book. The whole way through I'm thinking about how the book wasn't that way. At the end I'm usually less happy than my friends who haven't read the book and took the movie for what it was, for better or worse.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they start treating these as more than walk on cameos.
