POLLY WALKER (JOHN CARTER, CAPRICA)
GUEST STARS ON SYFY’S WAREHOUSE 13 SEASON 4.5

HIT SERIES RETURNS IN APRIL 2013 WITH 10 ALL-NEW EPISODES

NEW YORK – October 15, 2012 – Polly Walker (Caprica, John Carter) will guest star on Syfy’s hit series Warehouse 13 as Charlotte Dupres, a nemesis of the Warehouse Team who compounds mystery with intrigue and whose innumerable layers and secrets will unfold over the course of Season 4.5. Walker’s story arc will encompass five episodes.

Warehouse 13 returns in April 2013 with 10 all-new episodes.

If you haven't been watching, here's what you need to know about the show in a nutshell (but it is worth it to spend the time between now and April catching up on the seasons you might have missed!)

Warehouse 13 follows a team of government agents who work at a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota, which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and preternatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse’s caretaker Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek) charges Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock), Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly), Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti) and Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him control the Warehouse itself.

Most of the preceding information was provided by Syfy during their Digital Press Tour in Toronto.

  1. Seriously, April? After the way the last episode ended this is going to seem like forever.

  2. That's Syfy for ya. You should have seen the atrociously long hiatus between each season and mid season finale for Eureka.

  3. POLLY WALKER FOREVER.

But I am really not a fan of this splitting up 'a season' but the gap between the season halves are huge. Just call them two seasons and be done with it.

  4. I went through that as well - yet I'm still surprised for some reason. I usually end up forgetting about the second half of SyFy seasons for this reason.

  5. That's what I said too. A break is 1 or 2 months most. This is a complete split. I don't know why they bothered making the season longer if this is what they were going to do.

  6. They're even divided up in terms of storylines.

  7. This is not something new that SyFy is doing, they did that with Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. I personally never liked seeing all the episodes in one season then having to wait a whole year before the show returned, but that's just me..

  8. It appears that Syfy's new show Defiance and Warehouse 13 will both air in April 2013. Sanctuary and Eureka are toast so what will air between New Year's and April???

  9. Being Human starts January 14, 2013

  10. Lost Girl will return sometime in 2013.

  11. Forgetting what happened so long ago (btwn seasons). Exactly!

  12. What's the difference, really? Warehouse 13 seasons usually start in July. It's only 3 months shorter. Now if W13 was airing again in December or January, then that would be a change.

I only watch W13 and Being Human on Syfy channel so I never experienced seasons cut off as strangely as this before.

  13. April? Really? That's just a such long time to wait!

  14. You know i read this again and they are starting the second half later. With Stargates they too only had a three maybe four month break, not six months.Maybe they plan on starting their new season later next year, like they did with Haven??

  15. Continuum will be starting in 2013 sometime in Feb. i believe..Don't know what other shows they plan on..

  16. Oh, it's a Canadian Sci-Fi drama starring VICTOR WEBSTER. I am melting now :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Also, it will be good to see Lexa Doig from Andromeda.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yes, I fell for Victor Webster when he played "Coop" the cupid on Charmed.

  19. They also did it with Battlestar Galactica and season 3 of Sanctuary. I feel like it completely weakens the storytelling.

  20. Let Syfy pick up season 5 already lol bad enough we have to wait till april for the second half of the of the season lol

  21. Yes they did,i was just giving an example.I don't think it weakens the storytelling, not for me anyway. They usually rerun the previous episodes before they start the second half which i usually watch anyway,i'm always forgetting something that has taken place so for me its a good way to refresh my memory.

  22. Yes it will be good seeing her again! I had no idea she was married to Michael Shanks of Stargate! I take it you like Mr.Webster! :)

  23. I believe Merlin will be back after the holidays.

  24. I for one hope it gets cancelled without Leena and HG you got no show even if it gets picked up syfy has a habit of axing shows and not allowing them to have a full season 5.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I gues there wont be christmas special?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think these long mid season breaks is what kills a lot of SYFYs shows. If you don't get hooked immediately and stay on top of your favorite, it gets lost and the viewers get hooked into something else in the mean time. Unless your a diehard fan of a particular show, you may not come back for the rest of the season.

  27. i do not whant to what that long we ned it now that not what it is thares a show even gh is gone or not Leena is stell in the show.

  28. These long waits between seasons is a horrible scheduling idea imo. Why does SyFy insist on ruining all of their shows this way? I hated to wait so long between new episodes back when Eureka was on. It was like having two shows to watch, one in the fall, and one in the summer. What idiots they are at SyFy.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Strongly disagree. The main players are Myka and Pete. Then Claudia and Jinx. And of course, Artie. The show will go on without HG and Lina who were hardly important anyway.

  30. Can't wait! Love this show, its one of the best on sci-fi..

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes!! It's coming back.. Just finished episode 10 We all fall down, still upset..can't wait to see what happens next!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I think HG is important because she is cool. They should develop that character. Someone has to create the mechanical devices they have and so far everyone is a computer networking nerd no mechanical engineers, no inventors on the theme except her. Also, I would like her to be for women... I love her character's wit and personality.

    ReplyDelete
  33. What about Claudia. Admittedly she doesn't invent per say but she does tinker and create new models from old.

    ReplyDelete
  34. So what date is it coming back on? I know it's this month but when this month?
