  1. Yay for Scandal! The overacting and insane plot lines appeal to me.

  4. I was hoping Scandal would get the full season pickup due to Shonda Rhimes' Private Practice getting the can. Very pleased ABC came through

  6. I would go 50/50 only on that. The Neighbors are just awful.

  7. I initially thought The Neighbors looked stupid and predicted it'd be the first show cancelled, but it makes me laugh. I like it.

I don't think it's going to last longer than a season, though.

  8. Yay!!! I can top fretting about The Neighbors disappearing. I find it a refreshingly silly alternative to the creative darlings (that I do not find funny in the least) that NBC has been airing for the last 10 or so years. I haven't watched an NBC sitcom since Cosby went off the air.

I'm really really pleased about both of these pickups. YAY!!!!!

Just wating to hear something about 666 PA... (i don't care if it does not get picked up, for the other 9 episodes, as long as they don't cancel it! )

  15. 'Refreshingly Silly'! My exact words :) I just love this show. It cracks me up and I, as well, have not been a sitcom fan for a long time! I am only 30 but I loved the old cheesy stuff. Green Acres, Mr. Ed, I Dream of Jeannie. I find the Neighbours a new twist on old humour.

  17. So glad for The Neighbors! I agree with the both of you about this sitcom being "refreshingly silly". Like @LeechyT:disqus, I am only 30, but love the oldies too (i.e., Golden Girls). I am generally not a regular sitcom watcher of much of the current sitcoms, but I do enjoy The Neighbors. Yay!
