-Rating Results:
The four-game sweep by The San Francisco Giants concluded The World Series on Fox last night with an estimated 10.0 rating/15 share in the overnights in primetime (which finished second behind Sunday Night Football on NBC). While this series was certainly no ratings champion, game four did build from Fox’s regularly scheduled animated line-up by 243 percent year-to-year.

Earlier in the evening on Fox was a primetime football overrun at a massive 18.3/30 in the 7 p.m. half-hour, followed by post-game The OT at a 19.4/30 at 7:30 p.m. Keep in mind, as always, that results for any live sporting event are approximate.

Opposite baseball, aforementioned Sunday Night Football on NBC was no slouch, with the New Orleans Saints at the Denver Broncos at a dominant (and approximate) 11.6/17 in the overnights from 8:30-11 p.m. Earlier in the evening was Football Night in America at a 1.8/ 3 (#4) at 7 p.m., a 2.7/ 4 at 7:30 p.m. (#4) and a second-place 7.4/11 at 8 p.m.

Over at CBS, and opposite baseball and football, the Eye net still resonated with its combination of granddaddy 60 Minutes (#2: 8.5/13), The Amazing Race (#4: 6.4/ 9), The Good Wife (#3: 7.0/10) and relocated The Mentalist (#3: 6.9/11), which hit the 100-episode mark. ABC had nothing unusual to report, meanwhile, with line-up of America’s Funniest Home Videos (#3: 4.3/ 7), Once Upon a Time (#4: 6.2/ 9), relocated Revenge (#4: 5.6/ 8) and week five of 666 Park Avenue (#4: 3.5/ 6), which dipped by 22 percent from failed year-ago occupant Pan Am (4.5/ 7 on 10/30/11). Five-week overnight track for 666 Park Avenue: 5.3/ 9 – 3.7/ 6 – 3.7/ 6 – 3.3/ 6 – 3.5/ 6).

  2. What does 6.9/11 mean? How many viewers did The Mentalist have? Stupid blank tables.

  8. 666 Park Avenue did better this week than Last and its still being compared to Failed Pan Am? I don't see the logic really

  9. I think it's because Pan Am got cancelled and as 666 Park is doing worse then the writer is suggesting it should be as well.

  10. I get that but it's not fair to compare two shows that have different genres. Its obvious nothing will survive or get better ratings at the timeslot for ABC so it should show confidence in 666 PA to keep the ratings steady and to build it up.

  11. Oh hey, OUAT did the same, so yay! That's good.

And 666 Park Avenue seems to be gaining viewers, so while that's still not good, I'm happy.
