Production shut down on multiple shows due to Hurricane Sandy

Production on New York-based shows like Elementary and Gossip Girl have been halted today because of the storm moving through the east coast today. Several primetime dramas will stay dark today and likely through Wednesday because of what Good Morning America has dubbed the ”Halloween Superstorm.”

Affected shows include The Good Wife, Person of Interest, 30 Rock, Nurse Jackie, Smash, Special Victims Unit, Celebrity Apprentice and 666 Park Avenue.

    They're probably far enough into shooting that a two or three day downtime isn't going to result in any episode delays. Still, they'll probably do it anyway.

    Warren Tweeted last night that they won't be filming. Hopefully Sandy will weaken and go back out to sea

    ..If they don’t live near the river o like Manhattan surrounded by one o Coney Island had sea and also river they are screw because when sea and river collide in one place prompted a wave could move like a little tsunami and began flood in lower areas and manhattan increase river level..ouch.ouch
