Private Practice - Season 6 - KaDee Strickland interview

TVLINE | I was rounding up past quotes from you about Charlotte getting pregnant someday. There is: “I, KaDee, do believes she’s ready to have her own child. I want more of it!” And: “I think it would be so much fun. Can you imagine Charlotte pregnant?!” And now… here you are.

Three’s the charm! [Laughs] Of course, Shonda Rhimes will find a way to take what one might consider a conventional opportunity for a couple and turn it into the most unique, incredibly interesting circumstance. It’s pretty good stuff.

TVLINE | What stages of pregnancy acceptance will Charlotte be moving through in the coming weeks?

Have you ever seen a Shonda Rhimes show? [Laughs] I can’t truthfully answer that in fullness, but if I know Shonda and her writing, I’m going to be just as surprised as the audience to see what Charlotte does as we continue with her pregnancy. Trust me, I can’t wait to get my hands on that script.

  1. This was a good interview! I'm glad that KaDee says Shonda will be wrapping up the characters' storylines in the series finale. Can't wait to see the triplets!

The rest of season six sounds amazing, and as sad as I am about the show ending, I can't wait to see what happens!

  2. this season has been excellent so far (episode 2 disapointed me a bit, but apart from that it has been top notch), so i am looking forward for the rest of it. I will miss private practice terribly i have to say. at times, i liked it better than even ga. As all shows, it had its ups and downs, but i really love those characters and all the intense and emotional storylines they went through. I will always find this show extremely underrated, but I am very glad I enjoyed it as much as I did and that it will end up on a high note, with everyone having proper endings. Also, pleeease send Amelia to Seattle Grace, Shonda! Make it happen!
