I wondered the same! But since she said Emily Thorne came to see me.. and not Amanda, since she doesn't know she was being filmed, I would believe that she doesn't.
Revenge is reall my new favorite show but I am a bit unsatisfied with the premiere, it was great but not at its finest A game, gonna need to rewatch it though...On the other hand? Next week's episode looks so intense, waaay much better!
I think this episode proves Charlotte's life sucks. This episode was amazing, I didn't expect them to reveal Victoria was alive until next episode. I really missed this show, and the promo totally has me excited for the rest of the season. I thought it was cool how they revealed that Charlotte knew Victoria was alive and all that stuff. The only downer I'm gonna have to live with was Amanda, I was so annoyed with her.
Emily Vancamp was so beautiful in that red dress. Damn. I was actually happy that Ashley felt guilty about hooking up with Emily's ex. She became one conniving woman in season 1.
I agree. I enjoyed the premiere episode, but I felt it was a bit inferior to the pilot - couldn't help comparing the two. It somewhat lacked that finesse and juicy excitement I love about the show.
I rather read that as general discomfort - she was supposed to be such a close friend and yet now she's banging her very recent ex-fiance. Ashley has always been a two-faced social climber and I think it takes more than facing a "friend" after hooking up with her ex to make her feel guilty.
I have never for one moment thought Victoria was dead. What I didn't expect was that she'd be revealed so quickly or that Emily would be the person to find her. I like Nolan and Emily sharing the house. I'm beginning to think that when Charlotte finds her power she's going to be nearly as dangerous as her sister.
Sunday night on ABC is turning out to be awesome fun.
I noticed something, when Danial and his Dad were talking about Emily and Ashley. Danial said something about how at least Ashley wouldn't cheat on him, His Dad got this Guilty hidden look on his face. Could he be sleeping with Ashley and have her spying on Danial to get at his money...hmmm wouldn't put it passed him. Anyone else notice?
Does anyone know the song that played at the very end of the episode? I know it's a cover version for "Hey hey my my", but i can't find the right one with female vocal in it.
Some of it was a tad predictable I mean really we all knew Victoria was alive but I have to say loved it all the same. Nolan is just my favourite character, his friendship with Emily is great but I also love how much he really cares for Jack as well.
I do feel for Fauxamanda she is just being used time and time again. Also feel sorry for Charlotte, poor kid can't catch a break.
Wow, ABC is shaping up to be the Sunday night destination. I missed Revenge. I miss Wednesday night even more (would have been the perfect closer and balance to my Arrow and SPN watching) . But it has a strong lead in with OUaT and hopefully 666 Park Avenue will turn into a strong lead out as well.
Loved it! Am so glad the new season & our shows are finally back on!!!
*Em n Nolan under the same roof - this can only mean really "Reveng-y" things!
*Nolan has some of the best lines! : Anything Reveng-y; CrayCray;
*Ashley is finally where she wanted to be in the first season: in Victoria's Chair Am glad she's w Daniel - those two deserve each other! - or maybe Daniel n Daddy should just share her! HA !
*Loved Charlotte running to Emily.... Is Lil Sis gonna get some lesson's from Big Sis?
*Declan really is looking out for Jack- seem's like they have switched Older Brother roles.
*Victoria & Conrad..... what a coupla Evil People- maybe they should check into 666 Park Avenue.... they'd fit right in!!!
Please Please Please get rid of Preggers Amanda..... she makes me crazy! I know she's there to always throw the wrench in the plans, but I can not stand her!
I'm kind of sort of hoping Charlotte joins forces with her sister. I liked seeing that Charlotte trusted Emily enough to let her know where her mother was, and even though she stayed in contact with her mother, we all know Victoria had a hidden agenda up her sleeve, so I feel like Charlotte really can't trust anyone except for Emily.
Very good premiere. It wasn't the best episode of the show, but it was perfect as a premiere, as it set up perfectly what each character has been to and put everything in place for the new season to roll. Very good. We all knew that Victoria would be alive but I was surprised with how they did it, very good. Also, I never cared for Charlotte, but I loved her and her storyline this episode, I hope she joins her sister in their quest for revenge. Nolan was also awesome throghout the whole episode and I still like Daniel a lot and think eventually him and Emily will get a fair shot. Conrad is just pure evil, nothing redeemable about him, whereas Victoria is a villain you sort of understand. The last bit, after the boat scenes were really cool. I didn't care for the Jack storyline though to be honest. So glad to have it back ;)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh how I missed this show!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this show so much.
ReplyDeleteIf the white-haired man and Victoria are working together, does it means that she already knows that Emily is the real Amanda?
ReplyDeleteFLAWLESS.
ReplyDeleteAwesome²

ReplyDeleteAlso, wasn't there supposed to be a wedding featured in the episode?

Great start to a great season.
ReplyDeleteDid she really felt guilty? I doubt that.

ReplyDeleteIt's in her body language. Watch her closely when Emily approaches her at that party.
ReplyDeletepretty cool that they got Emily Lind ( 8 yr old Amanda )'s little sister Alyvia to play the even younger Amanda
ReplyDeleteI didn't interpret her body language guilty. I thought she was bracing herself for a fight.

ReplyDeletegreat season premiere! nolan's at his best, worth waiting whole summer!
ReplyDeleteshe is definetly doing Conrad ,no doubt about it - especialy when the cheating conversation was going on !
ReplyDeleteYep, I definitely got that vibe.

ReplyDeleteAwesome with double infinity !!!
ReplyDeleteI think it may be this version 'Into The Black by Chromatics' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSycSBYHitc
