Loved zade ! so cute Just wish that she would stop with this george crap, she says that she can't be with him for now and I didn't even understand the reasons why (I think that the love story between them is horrible, we don't understand anything) . She should just admit that she has feelings for wade.
This episode really frustrated me.I really don't understand why they continue with this stupid triangle in such a horrible manner. So she still has feelings for George, ok ... They are apparently epic and I just have a different opinion on it. (Cause God knows these writers loooooveee George) But what really bugged me is the way she treats Wade. She wants him to only want her but the rules don't apply to her. She doesn't care that she might hurt him and she basically admitted that she is just using him until George is ready. Wade might have his flaws but he does not deserve that. He really cares about her and she proved once again that he means very little to her. Why string him along then? He deserves way better, way way better.
Bad form, Zoe! You can't treat people like that. Now instead of liking Wade but not being too upset with the George side of the triangle, I actively want both boys to find better women.
Agreed. She totally admitted that she is using him until George is ready--because it is what *she needs*--but instead of telling Wade that, she tells George! She tells Wade that she told George she was "involved" with someone which doesn't equal not serious at all.
Ummm wait, they spent a whole season trying to convince us that Zoe is a relationship dummy and "not that kind of girl" and now "it is what she needs". If she is supposed to be in love with George why she doesn't try to be with him, and if she supposedly doesn't want to be with Wade why is she running after him all the time? Sorry my poor brain can't make sense of this ridicule. There is nothing interesting in this storyline nor the new structure anyway, no funny Bluebell customs or medical cases and Zoe goofs, I feel I'm watching a boring soap opera.
See this is why I can't blame Wade for keeping his guard up. He knows he's not a priority for her. He knows that George is her main focus, so of course he won't put himself out there. But I was happy to see him try to be assertive and not give away too much. And he was so cute just trying to play it off but being hurt regardless. He's so in love with her.... As for Zoe... Ugh! I'm really hoping that when she and George get together (and it has to happen so they can both stop acting like this perfect little ideal they've build up in their minds will actually live up to hat they think it is), and reality hits her she will see that what she has with Wade is real and genuine and serious. That level of comfort and intimacy is what defines a couple. Wade is the one she calls on. Wade is the one she trusts. Wade is the one who is there for her. And to have her just spout on about how he's just temporary.... MAN!!! Having said that I really loved all the Zoe/Wade moments. I can't get enough of just seeing them so comfortable and close with each other.
George is the kind of a character that I just can't root for.... he's a nice guy, yes, but he coasts on being a nice guy and doesn't put much effort into anything else.... I rarely find myself caring about him and I seriously can't consider him the strong romantic lead the writers want him to be and constantly try to write him as.
Lemon guilting Lavon into fessing up was irritating. If it was coming from a place of genuine concern and because she truly believed he was lowering himself to Ruby's level I would have totally been on her side. But doing so because she was jealous, and especially because she also back-stabbed, was selfish and missleading! That's the S1 Lemon behaviour I couldn't stand!
Very nice episode! Although it contains less funny scenes than usual, and the funny ones are very funny, it is filled with "awww" moments, especially when:
1) Wade suddenly gets the realization that he also needs to enforce some rules. 2) The whole Zoe and George scenes. 3) When Zoe admitted that she might be wrong to get things out of control. 4) When Ruby apologized to Lavon.
Though I usually ship Zade more than Goe (or is it Zeorge?) in the past, this episode I find myself shipping Goe more than ever. Although Zade can be funnier than Goe, but Goe does seem to be a perfect relationship because everytime Zoe look at George and vice versa, I can see that they both are in love with each other. George's frustration of waiting is heartbreaking. His question, "Now tell me again why we're not together?" is spot-on. I don't understand with this whole "George needs a time to heal".
Now, I want Zoe to get together with George as soon as possible! I'm sure I'll attract a lot of haters coming from Zade shippers after this.
I would've loved all those cute George/Zoe scenes, if I were not so in love with Wade and Zoe. W&Z, they just have this undeniable easy natural chemistry, and sorry but nothing can compete with that. And no matter how hard writers try to sell this whole unrequited G/Z love , it's not working for me.
I love Zade but the last scene between Zoe & George was just beautiful ! I loved it : they both played really well and for the first time, I felt sorry for George. Except this, LAVON & LEMON all the way ! I'm still waiting for those two : something will happen or not ?! Great episode !
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDelete*nods* The Zoe/George epicness is falling so short compared to Zoe/Wade.
