  1. Why am I not surprised that Zoe and Wade are into role play? Jealous Zoe trying to make Wade jealous (and failing) was another amusing hour. I also thought Lemon might be pregnant, that is until someone pointed out she could be. Oh, and thank you to the writers who keep finding ways to make Rachel Bilson remove her clothes without going too far with it.

Did anyone else start playing the Mission Impossible theme song in their head when she was trying to purchase a pregnancy test? No? Alright, it's just me then.

This whole misunderstanding between Zoe and Wade could have been entirely avoided if they had devoted ten seconds of their time to talk about it.

  2. Kinda loved it!!!
I definitely think George and Lemon will get back together again by the end of the show.
IMO they are a better fit for eachother, and moments like that one on the boat is why. They do get one another, faults and all. I think both getting in touch with who they are as separate people, and identifying themselves outside of them being a couple is something that's long overdue. But in the end they'll go back to each other. I'm certain of it.

Also the Lavon/Lemon friendship is an angle I can totally get behind. There was a strong, sweet, healthy dynamic there.
Having said that, and even though I believe him when he says he's not in love with her anymore, I can see her reverting back to having feelings for him, now that she's alone. And, well... Lemon is territorial. You know that could be messy in the long run.

    RUBIE SUCKS!!!!!

Brick and Mangolia are childish, immature and Funny! I enjoyed seeing them having to face the fact that they both take Lemon for granted, yet still not fully realizing and admitting that they do.

And last but not least Zoe/Wade.... Ah! Zoe/Wade.... these two are so OTP is hurts... but in such a good way.
Of course he doesn't mind not sleeping with anyone else, because sweetie, he's NOT! Because you're right: He's plenty happy with you!
They are so dating and not aware of it it's hilarious! I love them so much.

    Overall AWESOME episode.
No sophomore slump so far. Well done show!!! *applauds*

  4. Ok, as for this episode, I officially hate Ruby! I'm glad that Zoe's not friends with her anymore. We can blame the pregnancy debacle to many: 1) Zoe because of her drunk ass, 2) Lemon for shoplifting, 3) Frank because he's annoying, 4) Ruby, mostly Ruby for being a bitch, and 5) the sheriff for knowing Lavon for so long and not knowing Lavon's character yet.

I don't know why Zoe is in a constant need to prove her points, with the alumni journalist, and then to Rose, and then to Wade, I wish she'd just stop and being independent. But then, I like the character and come to think about it, I started to realize that it's her, and it's her flaw - being insecure. I can understand that. It makes her human, in funny ways. But if she learns and matures along the season, it'd be greater.

This is a great episode, a lot of funny lines. Including Wade's nonchalant, "I'm voting for Lavon" to Ruby, Magnolia's funny adolescent quirks and her "Dad, do I need to call child protective service?", George's backward sandwich which cracked me up, etc.

But I would like to highlight the most prominent thing of the episode. Oh god, does this mean Wade's Zoe's boyfriend now?? I mean, I know she doesn't really say boyfriend, but Wade agrees to be monogamous, so it's kinda being in a relationship right?? It's one step forward. Although I still wish Zoe ends up with George.

  5. This episode was amazing! I loved Lemon, she's fast becoming my favourite character. The Brick/Magnolia scenes were so funny, I laughed so hard when he came up with the plan to steal food from the BBQ. Zade are slowly developing and I love it. I cannot say enough how much I love this show. Ahhhh!
