  1. Pretty good episode, Dex dealt with Isaak not how I expected but I liked it. I definitely expect him to return later this season, or potentially next season. And I'm glad Deb is getting a little more comfortable with Dex, knowing he won't stop.

  2. I loved it.
Isaak as the terminator? So cool. Great character, great actor.
So Hanna killed. Is she still a killer? Looks so. At least Dexter was right. She was not a victim and she liked remembering all the killings.
I hoped so much Dex and Deb would play nice together. Last eps end was promising. Now she
is back to where she has her problems with him. I liked them when they talked in the hotel and later in his apartment. He was her hero? He watched her? Although I hoped for more flashbacks (since the promising once form ep 1), talk is good to.
She accepts that he is killing and can't stop, which is great, but I don't like her to back up from him. They need each other. Especially now, that LaGuerta is on the BHB case again. And how could Deb be so pissed at Dex when she figured he left a trophy behind. He was right. The evening/night didn't go as he planned it.

  3. Comfortable? She accepted it, yes. But I had the feeling she is backing off, kipping the distance. She said, she couldn’t do it. The lying and covering up. It's not her.

  4. Loved it! Another really good one!

Interesting words from Deb. Dexter WAS her hero, can he still be? (:

Issac is awesome! -He's like a James Bond Villain!

Noticed that LaGeurta had an orchid or cyclamen on the shelf in the background in her office. (Hannah grows them). Could just be part of the aesthetic for fun, or could be alluding to something (something deadly) I personally think she would remember what Doakes told her about Dexter, so I kind of think she's setting Deb up....The whole BHB victim - "reception" thing along with Deb's conversation about it being not just about Dex anymore, and 'the killer dance' with Hannah and Dexter reminds me of the Rolling Stone's song, "You Can't Always Get What You Want"

I was glad that Deb was also being Nostalgic. -Hope it will count for something down the line! -But for now I think she's gonna keep flip-flopping.

Another great science FICTION reference with The Terminator!

Interesting all the little acts of "burning" things, could be symbolic and thematic to what ever is coming.

  5. I agree. I think she has very complex emotions here. But true to Deb, she does bounce around a lot when it comes to an idea. But I got the impression that she was backing off a little.

But going with my belief that this is dream, I think Dexter is trying to figure out in his mind "who" Deb really is and so it's reflective in this ping-pong aspect of her character this season, as Dexter works through his dream...

  6. Perhaps comfortable is the wrong word, a little more accepting maybe? I'm not saying she's wholly with the idea of Dexter killing, but she sees the value of it if the police can't deal with it and she understands Dex won't stop and how hectic of a life it is to be Dexter Morgan. That's more than where she was at the beginning of the season. Understanding? Maybe that's a better word.

  7. Oh Debs is really going down a dark path, it was really hard to watch when she told Angel to drop the case. I hope she manages to pull herself back. I did like how she called Dexter out on how he killed people that the police didn't even get a chance to deal with. That is something that really started to annoy me last year how Dexter went after people that really the police might have had a chance of catching.

  8. Not bad.
    - I can already tell Hannah is going to be a huge pain in the ass for Dexter down the road.
    - Sirko (the Terminator) is going to get out of jail because Quinn is an idiot. Like always.
    - Deb lying to Batista was hard to watch, especially when he always had her back in similar situations.
    - It was plain to see that Deb was still struggling with her feelings for Dexter in this episode but she definitely seems to be getting past it.
    - Debra's elevator F-bomb scene was hilarious. I loved it.
    - LaGuerta took another big step in the BHB case this week which I'm hoping is one step closer to her death.
    - It is increasingly apparent that Dex getting rid of his slides was a damn smart idea.

    - How many times will Dexter say that he'll "handle it" or "take care of it" before Deb starts rolling her eyes at him and calling him on his bullsh*t?
    - Deb says she doesn't want to know and doesn't want to be involved in Dexter's extracurricular activities but I'm sure that won't last long.
