..for me this episode was a little flat

  2. Not too shabby for Christopher Gorham's directorial debut! It wasn't one of the season's best, but I still think it was well done.

  3. Liked the character stuff. Really interested to see how Joan and Annie pick up the pieces of their friendship/working relationship.

  4. I did not expect to see Parker ever again. Her departure kinda seemed final. What a crappy position for the two of them to be in. She knows she should stay very far away from him, but wants to help her family, and he really wants her to stay very far away from him, but he's a helpful guy. Still, they needed that talk at the end. An actual goodbye is a lot better than what happened before.

Joan is being so typical of an addict and she doesn't even realize it. For once, Arthur's level-headiness is a good thing. There is no good reason why Joan should be keeping this from him.

Despite the fact that Annie has been pushing a little too hard recently, she does have a point. Joan kept encouraging Annie to form connections with Eyal, and then she doubts Annie's judgment based on those connections?

I can't say I don't see Joan's side of things however. Annie's judgment is compromised, which was made clear with her angry rant in Joan's office. She could be a dangerous liability for all Joan knows.

    Next week looks fun.
