    Loved it! I kept wondering as it was fairly obvious that Castle was being framed, by whom and why?…… and once the reveal to the who and why, I cheered because it all made sense that it could’ve been done by a brilliant psychopath - 3XK is back…. I’ve been wondering when we would see him again… Loved that as much as he was trying to shake everyone’s faith in Castle, Beckett never wavered despite the seemingly irrefutable evidence against him. Really wasn’t expecting that final scene… wow. Loved that Castle showed him what happens when you mess with his girl…. I am a little curious that Kate was willing to write 3XK off as dead despite Castle’s misgivings that he’s still alive as she shot him a few times as well and he bounced back. Too bad Castle didn’t go for the head shot as he was certainly wearing body armor. Loved that everyone knows about Caskett, but felt cheated that we never got to see when Lanie found out/was told by Beckett about them…. You just know that would’ve been a great scene! I can’t wait til next week!

    I imagined 3xK to be in the figure, but couldn´t picture how he would do it... and of course he´s still alive!

    I thought he would be involved but didn't think he'd be in the episode. Loved tonight's episode and I think it ranks up there with my favorite Castle episodes. This season has been amazing so far and am so happy with the way the Caskett relationship is being handled.

    This is the best episode of the season so far, hands down! And probably Top 5 of the whole series.

    I think it was genius the way ABC made the audience believe with their promos and sneak peeks that the whole precint believed Castle was the killer, when actually all of them knew he was being framed, even Gates!

    The Beckett-Lanie scene was beautiful, and there were so many incredible twists!

    Was it just me that thought that Beckett wanted to whisper "I love you" to Castle when he was in the elevator, before the doors closed, but she couldn't bring herself to say it yet?

    At first, I also tought he wouldn´t be in the episode because I didn´t see the actor´s name on the cast... but don´t they know how to surprise us?

    Awesome! Awesome episode! So well played, by all of them! I suspected 3XK to be involved but he was brilliant, that scene with Castle in Prison gave mit chils!!! And I love the fact that Beckett always believed that he was framed! Way to Stand by your man!!


    And Castle shooting 3XK ? Now all the "This Episode will change everything" Comments from A.W. Marlowe make sence, once you shot a man that way (dead or not) that changes everything i think.


    So now we have Beckett & the Senator and Castle & 3XK both of them in pontential danger from ther Nemesis!!

    Well, this poll convinces me more than ever that some folks vote "awful" on anything, just for kicks. This episode was just phenomenal! Yes, I did keep forgetting to breathe. So many wonderful twists, so many gloriously shippery moments, and a fantastically tantalizing conclusion.

    Can't wait to see the fallout from this ep come back later in the season! Finale fodder, anyone?

    Holy crap that was an awesome episode the best mystery one in a long time. 3XK! returned finally and i loved no one expected it i didnt! The whole revenge on castle was amazing and just everything rocked. Lastly I think he's alive still Castle's right 3XK wanted to get out and continue without the cops after him think he was dead as much as he wants revenge i dont think revenge was his first priority. Idk maybe were wrong but i really hope one day he comes back!

    great eppie what can i say, i figured jerry was back but wow, am really threw us more than what i expected, great story telling i cannot wait for more. thanks for bringing actual Jerry back, this finally gives us viewers some understanding and some closure for the past eppies,although ryan and castle really needed a scene together and that is what lacked, Jerry stole his badge,

    I was pissed off that they were all accusing Castle but then when Jerry came onto the scene I was like "I KNEW IT!!! I KNEW HE WAS BEHIND THIS!!!" Excellent episode! :D

    I saw it. It was kind of buried but I think it stuck out to me because he was on "Pan Am," which I watched, so I paid attention to cast names and articles with them. But it's there.

    This is just a theory/thought but I think Kate didn't believe Rick about the 3XK because she wasn't taken hostage by him or didn't notice everything about him that Rick did. As for Lanie, I'm guessing she confronted Kate about her suspicions? Or Javi told her in this episode and she just told Kate that she knew (Kate did tell Rick that one reason she didn't want Alexis to know was because she'd tell Lanie who'd tell Javi). Or Kate told her. Still, I also would've liked to see that scene. At the same time, though, the scene with them seemed natural and not a shock that Lanie knew.

    My only problem with the episode was that there were several moments where Kate could've said "I love you" to Rick but didn't. I'm sure she's probably said it to him off-screen but we fans deserve to hear her say it!


    I didn't really think it was gonna be 3XK framing Castle until I started to see others online speculating about it. That made sense, and when I saw Michael's name in the guest credits, I was excited that we were right. And I'm with Castle - the bastard is still alive. It's just a matter of time before he returns.

    I'm pretty sure everything will be unravel in the finale. Kate and the senator - Castle and his nemesis. I'm worried (already) for the finale Lol. I think it'll be intense and the hiatus unberable (as always). But this ep was ... awesome isn't enough to describe it. From beginning to end : action, cute shipping moments, sad moments (seriously the Lanie/Kate scene!). I'm glad they all didn't think Castle capable of such an horrible crime. I will never get over this season. Because every ep is better. They deserve an award, especially Marlowe. Thank you for this amazing, extraordinary, loving season.

    Amazing!! Loved everything from the Esposito finding out to Lanie and Kate scene to the finale!! I was worried it would be too similar to Bones, but was happy to realise it was different!!

    Yeah, I´m sure some people came to vote awful or poor without watching the episode or even the show; that and dislike every like:)

    My theory is that they see how high ranked the episode is and don´t want to see it bother their favourite shows. Well, good luck with that!

    The ones who apreciate a masterpiece when they see one are the important ones:)

    OMG, it was so amazing !!! It gets better and better every week, so incredible
    Caskett was so beautiful as always
    I thought that there were some moments where an i love you wanted to get out of kate's mouth but I believe that marlowe wants to wait and give it to us for the Christmas episode (hope I'm right)
    Anyway 3xk is back, I'm glad that we weren't spoiled with interviews, it was nice to be surprised like that. I wonder what's gonna be next for that story, it's so good =)

    Oh and one last thing for the road (shipper's heart on)"you believe me ? I've never stopped"(shipper's heart still on lol)

    I loved this episode blaming a murder on Castle genius. Caskett moments, aw it's sweet that she believed him and never thought he did that murder. I love the everybody knows about their relationship now and no one has a problem with it. I can't wait to see some PDA action at the station in front of everyone.

    uh, how about in the Hamptons? He was egotistical when he got them arrested. Immature, when he showed up at the precinct because he couldn't wait outside around the corner. Plus, she didn't say jerk, she said jack a$$. There is a difference, a jerk is someone who isn't nice, a jack a$$ is simply stubborn and full of themselves. His comment about the cuffs and the other night attests to the fact that he is a bit full of himself. These aren't things that Kate dislikes about him and i would venture to guess that they are actually partly what attracts her to him, even if they do drive her mad. I equate this description of him with his description of her in Always. Yes their quirks are maddening but they are also what they love about one another.

    my comments weren't meant as criticisms of Castle but merely to point out that while he has changed, he is still the same guy. His ego, got him arrested. He went into questioning the woman with no plan because of his ego. His words were something like "don't worry I've got this" then he insults the woman and gets arrested. He did the same with the mob guy. His childish exuberance lead him to the precint when he was suppose to wait for Kate outside. None of those things makes him a bad guy and Kate loves him for these things even if they drive her mad sometimes. How many of us love someone for their free spirits but then it drives us mad when they don't make a plan? It happens.

    I still think what I thought before about this episode. But I have one addendum: Episodes like this to play shipper feelings are why there's a "curse" to putting will they/won't they couples together--silly plot contrivances and fundamental alterations to character personalities.

    Such an incredible episode. I was spellbound the whole time... everyone delivered a fantastic performance, and the writing was way above par. Strong work, Castle... I just hope enough people were able to see it during the storm.

    I'm afraid I disagree completely. Funny, enthusiastic, exuberant or even impatient don't equal immature. All those things mentioned above just make him human.

    I didn't like what Kate said because it struck me as another example of the show saying that Kate is level-headedness and maturity to Castle's crazy, while their respective actions show that Kate is no more grown up that Rick is.

    Awesome episode. Glad Ryan told Esposito what he'd found out about them dating. Wish I'd gotten to see that scene though. I was a little caught off guard by Castle's 'Dirty Harry' attack on Tyson. Justified but it seemed a little easy for Castle to do and deal with. Tyson will be back. Of course he will. Anyone who has ever watched a daytime soap knows if you shot someone and they fall into water they're not dead. ;-D


    oh, and I loved the scene with Laney. It was deliberately written to make some people think Beckett was expressing doubts about Castle....and, of course she wasn't. But I thought the writing was really good.

    Probable Cause is the best there was, will be or could have been imagined for the TV series Castle. It is beyond my comprehension or conception that Marlowe could write anything better than this episode. He wrote the episode while standing in line for some event!!! Amazing. Best Caskett scene - I never stopped believing! The entire Castle fandom is waiting on three words Marlowe. We know it but it wouldn't hurt to hear her say..I love you, Castle! :)

    My guess is we will see Bracken for the finale. Another seasonal appearance of 3xk would step outside the Marlowe pattern. The never ending saga of Kate's Mom will certainly surface as we really have no resolve regarding that issue. The idea that a politician will just walk away slightly scarred without vengeance in his dark heart is unlikely. I think we will move toward a relationship milestone with Kate and Rick only to have it intentionally derailed causing Castle Fandom to wish for another quick end to the summer. Long Live Castle!
