After doing an outstanding job portraying Leona Lansing on HBO's The Newsroom, Jane Fonda pacts with ABC for a new comedy: 'Now What?', Variety reports.
The story revolves around a young woman who pours her heart out on a blog post entitled 'Dear Mom, Here's Why I Hate You...'. Said mom - Jane Fonda - decides to move in with her daughter to try and find a way they can work out their differences. Sounds fun?
'Now What's' is written by Abby Gewanter and it marks Fonda's first starring TV series role. The executive producers are Mike Tollin, Ben Spector and Scott Ellis, who also directs the show.
