Ackles plays Olivia, who Polly befriends and decides to set up with Julian (Jon Dore)... Polly's ex-husband. Awkward! In the first episode, Julian is described as an "unemployed gambler with a pasty-white beer belly" -- so he's not exactly a catch. Ackles has filmed one episode so far, and her character may recur later in the season.
