TVLine reports that Freda Foh Shen is guest starring in Elementary as Joan Watson's mom, Mary Watson.
Mary will appear on episode 9, which airs on December 13 and she intends to go all no-you-didn't on her daughter's choice of profession. However, what we really should look forward to is the moment when mom meets Sherlock!
Here's what executive producer Rob Doherty has to say about that: “Given what we know about mom — or heard about mom — and given what we know for sure about Sherlock, you can see it going a certain way. I feel like we’re going to tell a story with a few lovely, little surprises.”
Elementary airs on Thursdays 10/9c.
