  3. A Little Slice Of Kevin sound like a winner.

  4. "Diggle (John Ramsay) pushes Oliver to look past the list and start helping those who really need him."
So that makes it pretty obvious that Diggle figures out Oliver's alter ego.

  5. They had me at "demon bomb."

    ReplyDelete
  6. It always makes sense to have one person who knows the hero's secret but didn't think they would have it so soon in the series *cough* Smallville.

  7. Hoping the return of Cas is as awesome as we want it to be! Nikita sounds awesome though not looking forward to Alex getting shot! Where is the Alex/Sean date? We haven't even seen them together as such =( hopefully that changes this Friday. Supernatural was a bit slow for me last week, I want to know more about their year apart but I know they will drag it on till December.

  8. Cas! And right before my birthday too. Makes me feel special. lol

    ReplyDelete
  9. It was inevitable. I just think it was bad form to reveal it in a synopsis.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yea it was getting a bit difficult with Diggle following him everywhere and besides who doesn't need a sidekick? However Diggle works for the mother so that's going to be a problem somewhere down the line...

  11. Arrow...Deathstroke nuff said!
Arrow... I knew Diggle wasn't going to stay in the dark about Ollie's mission.
Supernatural... Oooooo Kevin's mom is back!!!!
Nikita...um who thought kidnapping a visiting dignitary was a good idea? That can't end well.

  12. I'm glad to hear it. I was hoping they weren't going to drag this plot out but yes, that is pretty spoilery for a press release.

  13. Wow! Looks like 90210 is the CW's new kicked dog. In 2 of the 3 all they could say was there was a guest star. Way to sell the plot CW.

We knew pretty much everything in the SPN summaries already except that after being host to Cassie, Missouri will now host Garth. My poor state. Let us please be Mr. Fizzles free.

To be honest, the spoilers I am most interested in here is Arrow. That's a new one on me. Loving this show.

  16. "that is pretty spoilery for a press release."
Maybe they're giving people a little extra to chew on for sweeps?

    ReplyDelete
  17. lets be honest with 90210, they don't get advertising. That's a huge reason their ratings have dropped.

  18. There is nothing in these SPN spoilers that gives me any positive vibes at all. I'm not in invested in Benny or in his role of pushing the brothers even further apart.

Southern Comfort might be alright if it's a monster of the week; it at least should give us the brothers working together even although the writers will still probably keep making Sam harp on about how he wants out!

The Kevin one is the worst in my opinion.
Kevin and his MOM make a demon bomb! Really! Remember the good old days when it was Sam and Dean who knew how to make bombs and do all sort s of smart things, now we get Kevin and his Mom.
Also, we're getting Castiel back who will probably contribute to making the rift between the brothers even wider by taking sides with one or the other, probably with Sam seeing that Dean already has Benny to bond with!

Oh gosh I hope things right themselves but I have a horrible feeling that this is it; the new Sam and Dean, two brothers who once lived and died for each other now reduced to being at at odds and petty with one another, with of course Sam beiing confirmed in his role of bad uncaring and selfish brother, not having even looked for Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  19. personally I like the idea of Sam and Cas bonding , I've always wanted them to work together more and kind of felt like the writers have catered to Destiel fans too much at the expence of both Sam's relationships and Castiels intrestingness.
At the moment the season feels like there are 3 stories going on
I'd like to see more of Sam's relationships with others outside of Dean this season and for the whole sum of his relationships not to just be Amelia and Riot. He should have other people in his life, more importantly I think he needs someone he can talk to. I thought Amelia was going to be a person Sam could turn to, to talk to but that doesnt seem to be the case.
I do have a feeling the MOTW episodes are going to be the ones fans like most this season, well fans who like the brothers working together anyway. The mythology episodes seem like they're going to be mostly Kevin centric and the Purgatory/Benny stuff is likely to leave Sam on the sidelines.

    ReplyDelete
  20. they will inevitably drag out Sam and Dean's seperation till at least mid season

    ReplyDelete
  21. Starting from the end paragraph of your post, I completey agree with it. Those like myself, who enjoy seeing the brothers working together and getting the job done, are going to go for the monster of the week episodes as opposed to the myth-arc ones.
    X
As for Sam, I don't think that we are going to get to see much more than we already have of his outside-of-hunting activities.
I don't believe the Amelia thing is anything more than it appears to be, that is an excuse for giving Sam a supposedly valid reason for keeping him away from hunting and for him to keep harping on about wanting the apple-pie life.
    X
They had to take Sam out of the picture in some way to promote the whole Purgatory Dean/ Benny/ Castiel arc without having to include him.
    X
As for him bonding with Castiel, I find that to be a bit ironic.
Castiel has always treated Sam like a second class citizen compared to righteous man that he considered Dean to be.
I can't think of anything nice he did for Sam, other than the ridiculous taking away of his Hell memories, so for me, the less he has to do with Castiel, the better.
    X
As for Sam's need to talk to others, I've never really noticed that he had that inclination. It's always been more Dean who was the chattier of the two.
Sam has always used Dean as his sounding board and he has always struck me as the more secretive of the brothers, even when he was at Stanford and had "normal."
    X
Now if the brothers had been good with one another, and for example they had bumped into Sarah, that could have been a relationship to explore for Sam.
Even Dean had liked her and it would have been far more realistic that a mature Sam might consider leaving the life for her with Dean's approval, maybe going back to college, or still hunting with Dean part-time, if leaving hunting is the way the writers wanted to go for Sam.
Something I don't agree with, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Supernatural:
I hope "southern comfort" will not be garth centric, I'm not fond of him; otherwise, the two others episodes are going to be awesome!
I'm stil wondering if Benny will turn out as being a bad guy. Sam is usually the one who empathize with the monsters trying to fight their nature; I'm curious too see how the brothers usual roles will be reversed.
Why Cas didn't escape with Dean and how he will escape later... those two questions are on my mind since 8x02. Can't wait to know what happened and have Cas back.

    ReplyDelete
  23. awesome pre-birthday present isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  24. so exited waiting to watch 4x04 - The Five of Vampire Diaries!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. The brothers are only separated during the flashbacks. I love the
flashback purgatory but so far, the rare Sam flashback aren't really
    thrilling.
In "present time", the brothers are somehow "together but apart" I don't mind it. It's the pattern of the show since the beginning to have different pov/disagreements between Dean and Sam. That's one of the way to let the characters and the brother relation evolve. In the end, we all know they both would give their live for the other.

Mid-season is usually a game changer, it makes sense, that the brothers will be on the same page and focus on the season over arc. But so far, I don't see what could happen to change Sam current state of mind (him wanting out of the hunter life)
I'm not the one who usually ask for this but I need a Sam POV or at
least a Sam centric episode because it's difficult to empathize with him
    without understanding what is going
    through his mind.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Although I'm not a Cas fan, I'm resigned to the fact that he is a big part of Supernatural, so bonding with Sam is something I can sort of get behind. So many of my problems with the character were because the only relationship he had with Sam was him betraying Sam at various turns. Although he called himself a friend, I never really saw that, I only saw the friendship with Dean. If Cas actually interacts with Sam and bonds with him, I will find him fitting better in the world of Supernatural.

What bothers me about these spoilers is that the focus seems to be very far away from Dean and especially Sam. We are getting an episode where we find out Benny's story. We are getting an episode about Garth, we are getting an episode about Cas, we are getting an episode about Kevin and his mother. This week we are getting an episode about found footage where Sam and Dean are seen in the background. Both Benny and Cas tie strongly to Purgatory and Dean's story. In fact any bonding between Cas and Sam is because of Dean.

I began watching Supernatural as the story of two brothers and their bond. I'm beginning to feel that I am watching the story of Dean, his good friends Benny and Cas and the people he meets along the way. Sam is a nonentity unless he is doing something for Dean's friends. Frankly I want the story of the two brothers not Dean and his horrible, bad no-good brother who has no purpose except to make Dean emo. And that is the story that these spoilers tell me I'm getting.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I totally love the idea of Sam and Cas bonding... but personally, I kind of felt the writers have catered to Wincest fans too much at the expence of both Sam's relationships and Castiels intrestingness.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 'When a former undercover Division agent, Markov, is elected President of Uzbekistan'
    Really? How?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes.

And to the people who voted me down for expressing happiness- one song - "Can't Touch This" :D

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't think the writers have the brothers argue for tension's sake.
The difference between the brothers which is explored right now is very relevant to their characters. Dean has always been the perfect hunter and Sam the boy who wanted a normal life.
I love that TPTB dig into that material and I hope we'll find what that really means to them and what trully motivate each brother.

Dean for example, find justification and life meaning in the hunter life. this season is showing us that it also allow him to flirt with his darker side while keeping some apparent moral integrity.
Dean is also very clearly saying to Sam and Cas that he needs them. Why does he need them so much? Are his brother and his best friend the substitutes for the family life Dean doesn't think he's suited for him?

All those issues aren't really new for us, but I hope they will be discussed between the characters. I hope it will help Dean have a better understanding of himself and help him being more adjusted and happy.
