Everybody's capable of murder under the right circumstances. When all evidence points to someone, even someone you love/trust/etc, and their alibi doesn't check out, they don't want to talk about it and lawyer up? Something's going on.
Ofc I just think Castle is being setup, and so should the 12th, but it's a tv series, and every tv series has visited this trope.
Martha should charge into that police station and start bitch-slapping these people for even entertaining the thought that Castle is guilty of something like this.
And what are the right circumstances for a person like Castle to ritualistically kill a girl and affix her to a ceiling? Maybe a crime of passion or a panic/coverup scenario would be believable but not this.
Seriously? Wasn't this the pilot? Why would anyone who worked with Castle--casually met him on the street/stood in line for coffee with him--think he was a sadistic killer? Or think he would be bad enough at it to get caught?
I'm not saying its plausible in this setting. However, I remember I think a criminal minds episode that had some highly intelligent teenager(s) killing someone just for fun, and to see if they could get away with it.
It's not the same of course, by far. Im hoping the team (after arresting Castle cuz it's the only possible thing they could do with a mountain of evidence(?) against him) Backs him up and does everything in their power to find the real perps, and free him. At least from the promo pictures it looks like Castle and Beckett at least team up towards the end of the episode, and he's holding a gun at that.
For what it's worth, I am jumping to the conclusion that they do believe he's guilty. For all I know, the promos and sneaks could be misleading. It wouldn't be the first time they've done something like that.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Looks as if it's going to be an interesting episode!
ReplyDeleteThe plot of this episode is sooo lame. I mean Castle has been with them for 4 years and they think he killed someone?

ReplyDeleteNot much different from the previous ones.
