Kristen Bell and Jason Dohring have both been talking about a Veronica Mars film of late. But what have they been saying?
We missed part of this story popping up a week or two back, as stories have resurfaced regarding the possibility of a Veronica Mars movie. The TV show, which was cancelled after three seasons, starred Kristen Bell, and while promoting her new movie, Hit & Run, she was asked by Vulture about whether she was still interested in making a Veronica Mars film

I think Netflix should pick it up for a 4th season
ReplyDeleteI miss Veronica Mars and i would love to see a movie
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame it was cancelled, and although I would happily watch a movie I am guessing that as time goes on the chances of that happeneing are less and less.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Veronica Mars! In fact I've been doing so many rewatches these past few days. Then moving on to Heroes. Love her as Elle on that show.
ReplyDeletei've just watched s01 and s02 first time and i think this definitely deserves a movie!
ReplyDeleteDo any of these shows have any hope of a movie?
ReplyDeleteThat would be great,as long as it respected the concept of the show.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't endorse movies for most cancelled series, but this show was so great and left so open-ended. One big ender would be fantastic.
ReplyDeletewow that would be cool
ReplyDeleteI feel like rumors of a movie for this show pop up at least twice a year for the last however many years. It would be nice and I'd watch the hell out of a movie, but I don't think it's gonna happen after this much time. (Maybe they should look into doing a comic book series instead??)
ReplyDeleteI think a movie would be great fun and better than Netflix picking it up for a Season 4 honestly.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to get most original cast members back for a one off movie is easier than trying to have a new season of a show that would need to jump ahead into the future a number of years with Veronica losing touch with many if not most of her friends. Season 4 would be a new series in essence, but a movie could be a final chapter to the original series as it was.
I want a movie !!!
ReplyDeleteFor me, Kristen Bell, has grown and changed so much as an actress that I don't want a movie or redux of the series. I don't think the character would be the same. (Though, given that I am a hard core daytime soap fan, I could live with a different actress playing Veronic Mars.)
ReplyDeleteI think we're better off just moving on. I know I am.
I love Veronica Mars, it still is my favorite show but sadly there isn't anything new about the movie prospects: The actors want it, Warner Bros doesn't and Warner Bross in the boss in this picture... I would really love that situation to change, but it doesn't seem likely. :(
ReplyDeleteLove for there to be a movie, the series is brilliant, I just watched the 3 seasons last month, never usually watch shows that get cancelled, but I am glad I watched this one
ReplyDeleteI managed to watch the first 3 eps of S1 and have been meaning to go back and finish them this summer, just never enough time. Hopefully I'll be able to get thru at least S1 before the new shows hit.
ReplyDeleteI miss Veronica Mars, and I'd really love a Veronica Mars Movie! All the fans want a movie, guaranteed they'll get their money back, what's the blemin problem? It was one of the best shows i've ever seen! Give us answers to the end of season 3 please?
ReplyDeletei hope this somehow works out!!!
