The cast seem genuinely excited for this show, but I didn't think the jokes were very funny. I don't think it's funny that the husband bought a town house without consulting his wife. The "Is something wrong with our crockpot" line fell flat on the floor. And the aliens--men have babies, nourishment is through reading--it just seems a little one-note. I suppose as the human/alien relationships grow, there might be some improvement. We'll have to see. But if this is supposed to be a comedy, the writing has to sharpen.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I doubt they'll be in action for long time :P
ReplyDeleteI'm going to correct you...
ReplyDeleteThey won't be in action for even a short time.
Since I just ate, I won't be able to watch it. I really like being able to digest my food.
