Diane Kruger is joining the cast of FX's drama pilot The Bridge. Adapted from the Scandinavian series i Bron, The Bridge centers on two detectives from the United States and Mexico who must work together to hunt down a serial killer operating on both sides of the American-Mexican border.

    That is quite brilliant casting for the role of Saga Noren or whatever the comparable role is in this remake. This makes me even more excited for the series!

    As a fan of many things Scandinavian (yes, even the food!) I'll be checking this out. I also like Diane Kruger, so...it's a no brainer.

    While I'm thrilled at the prospect of having Diane Kruger on TV every week, I think I've had my fill of serial killers as a bad guy of the week or a centerpiece on television shows.

    I haven't seen Kruger in much so I can't comment on her acting but she has a lot to live up to - Sofia Helin was spectacular in the original version.
