MRS. TRAN JOINS SAM AND DEAN ON THE ROAD — Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) talks Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into checking in on his mother (guest star Lauren Tom). When they arrive, they see that Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) has surrounded her with demons so they rescue her and take her along on their quest to find the tablet. However, they soon discover Kevin wasn’t kidding when he said his mother was a strong-willed woman after she tries to take on Crowley. John Showalter directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin (#803).

  3. Nervous about this as D and L can have good and can have bad episodes. Surprised D and L got the 2nd episode, thought that would be Edlund's.

I'm hoping this is a more serious episode than it sounds as well.

  4. This sounds like it could be good but you never know with these writers. Be funny to see her try to parent Sam and Dean and then take on Crowley. My mind actually goes immediatley to Missouri with this for some reason.

  5. On the face of it, it doesn't sounds like a particularly awesome episode, but I guess we'll see.

  6. Sounds good to me. All the writers have had good and bad episodes.

  7. You would be 100% correct about that. Just did a podcast where I mentioned my feelings about this duo.

  8. So is it the new annoying Blogger interface or a glitch on Disqus that is eating posts? I swear I keep seeing posts in the recent comments that don't appear in the comments section.

  9. I thought I did too, but it turns out it's because the press release has been posted twice so there are differents comments in both articles but they have the same title.
