  1. It is kind of a relief not having to worry about the Fringe numbers anymore

  2. I knew people were going to jump on the band wagon for the last season,if we had ratings like this (yes,i know its only the first ep) we might of had a full season.......

  3. If Community manages to maintein it's viewership, it will do a great job... I really hope that 100% of the people who watch Community in the USA are people who hate going out on a friday night xD

  4. Actually KNOWING Fringe is ending this year is still not a relieving thought for most of us! :p I think I've accepted it now though, this season looks like it's going to be the best one yet!

  5. CSI NY and MIJ seem destined to be dead soon. BB might stay another year for syndication purposes and low expectations. But CSI will probably dump some of it's lower-rated stuff on Friday next year to free up some space for new shows.

  6. Blue Bloods skew very, very old...geez

  8. It's weird to be glad for a 1.6, but since these are death slot ratings: yay Grimm!

  10. MIJ could be the first show to be cancelled this season. I day move CSI:NY back to 9pm and stick Undercover Boss in at 8pm asap.

  11. I think Mob Doctor might run MIJ close for the first cancellation :)

  12. Even the Last Resort repeat did better than Fringe

  13. some people are stupid, why aren't they watching FRINGE

  14. DarkUFO,do we have year to date rating list somewhere? I'm curious,Blue Bloods seems lower this year and i just wanted to compare it?

  15. The ratings ALWAYS sucked for Fringe, that's why it only got 13 episode renewal. We are lucky to have gotten that....It should have been cancelled 2,3 years ago!

  16. No sorry. You can try to look at last years full ratings table to see all the ratings. I'm not at my pc so I don't know the exact link but you should be able to search for it

  19. I agree on both counts. It will be a sad day when the last episode airs and I think this is best premiere ( I wish I could add: so far) of all seasons *goes off and sobs*

  20. Kinda agree, but for me the best premiere was the 3rd's. Olivia trying to run away on the other side with Henry was awesome!

  21. Should I be nervous about these numbers? They all seem lower, even for Fridays, than last year. Am I wrong? So many shows I like are on Fridays! The networks are cramming too many same genre shows into the same time slots to compete with each other.

    - Blue Bloods is #2 in the ratings, so perhaps I don't have to be too concerned for it.
    - Grimm is probably doing better than most of NBC's current offerings.
    - Fringe is so low in ratings, I'm really nervous it won't get to finish out it's planned final series run. Here's hoping Fox honors it's commitment and lets Fringe finish it's entire final episode order, without major schedule changes.
    - Nikita was a repeat, so I am not too worried about it...yet.

  22. We need more data before we can see any pattens.

As for Fringe, I would not worry. FOX will show all episodes. The ratings are so poor they would have pulled it last year so they seem committed to finishing the story.

  23. @darkufo:disqus Thank you for trying to allay my fears. I don't trust the networks, so any low ratings news, even without seeing the overall pattern of ratings, makes me nervous. I will try to keep your wise assurances in mind before getting worried again. ;)
