I´m so glad to read that I´m not the only one that is really upset that Justified and Sons of Anarchy doesn´t get nominated. They both had awesome seasons last year and the actors and actresses on those two shows are just beyond brilliant.
ReplyDeleteIt is a shame.
ReplyDeleteDespite absolutely loving both series, I have a hard time making nominations spots for the actors or the shows themselves. I think they are equal to many of the yearly nominees, but significantly better to argue their nomination over the current nominees? *Shrug*
Katey Sagal is one I can easily seeing being nominated over Kathy Bates for instance, but that's about it. It's hard for me to remove any of the actors nominated for Best Actor or Best Supporting Actor.... or for Best Drama Series.
I understand what you mean. Still though, I think Katey Sagal deserves to win as much as all the nominees. For 4 seasons she has been abselutely brilliant as Gemma.
ReplyDeleteIn best supporting actor there is two actors from both DA and BB. I think one of those spots should have gone to Walton Goggins, who makes Boyd Crowder one of the most interesting characters on TV.
And you are right, all the shows are great and could win best Drama, it is difficult to take one out. For me personally I would rather see SOA and Justified on the list than BB, DA and Boardwalk E. But I know that those shows also deserves the spot.
