Great ep. I did think that it was a big stretch if the university let "gridiron guy" play contact football in a practice or otherwise after he was diagnosed and presumably everyone (ie. the team/coaches) knew that he can no longer play or risk major physical injury as he/his family would certainly have grounds for a lawsuit - unless it was a pick up game, but it seemed to imply that it was otherwise. I really like Jamie Bamber and am disappointed that they can't have his character do more than he has so far, but that seems to be at an end. Even tough I don't mind the romantic angle between Kate/Daniel, I do wish the writers would give the show a bigger background mythology story (like a serial killer nemesis for Daniel or Kate perhaps) to run on rather than just have a possible romance and the persistent hallucinations be the only long story for the show.. jmho
I thought this was a really great episode! One thing I was wondering though was if Daniel is still taking his meds as we last saw him from the previous episode? If so, it is interesting that he only "saw" his former self as his hallucination this week.
I'm still not sure about a romance angle between Daniel and Kate. She still seems more like one of his students to me. Maybe it's the age difference, since I thought the scene between Kate and the British guy was even a little weird.
I sure hope tptb give us more info on Daniel's other hallucination character before the season finale. I find the relationship between Daniel and her much more interesting than one between Kate and him. That's one of the main reasons I keep watching since I am so curious as to what their relationship was/is and if she was a real person from his past.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
this is getting more awsome every time
