I loved it! The season is off to an amazing start.
So pissed that we waited an entire year to find out that Dwight wasn't the father, though. And holy shit as Oscar having an affair with the Senator! Honestly wasn't expecting that one.
LOL at the camera crew sticking around because they apparently ship Jim/Pam. A+ decision. But whoa at him making that decision! I like that he finally did something, but I don't like that he didn't tell Pam. Glad New Jim kickstarted him into making that decision.
i think it was a good start for the last :( sean premeire you can tell they have motives to properly end the show. i think its just so sad and not content thats why it seems shaky. cant believe jim went behind pams back but that beginning before the theme song whaaaaat crazy. why isnt dwight the father? probably because if he was they could make so many more seasons from this show!!! hate how the whole senator dwight angela dispute is going to go too quickly. oscar is like the mistress omg did kelly and ryan officially leave? thats so sad they better keep up with them i want them to mention michael when dwight jr said ill take your customers and dwight said"my calls?" i thought he said michael i was OMG but didnt so...i hope they mention him at some point omg hinting at the new people carrying on the jim dwight legacy omg so sad i hate how people say its a dying show its not its just ah idk! i love it too much to let it go!!
Pretty good episode. Wasn't overly funny, except I loved the ending with Creed's bit (everything he says is hilarious) and everyone throwing their trash/recyclables in the trash/at Nellie. Given I'm not a fan of Nellie in the slightest that brought some humor around her character. And good for Jim making that decision, I'm curious to see how that storyline will go.
And I did not miss Ryan or Kelly at all in this episode, their little bits at the beginning were fine for me as a send off.
Decent start for the final season and good to see from the Jim/Pam scenes that this plotline will one of the driving stories thru to the endrun - good choice as their relationship as well as the Jim/Dwight one are the strongest horses in the race (for me anyway) of stories that I've always found interesting... In a way, this feels like the storyline that I felt they would eventually go to after Pam's foray into the art/design world stalled, I figured that after Pam's journey, they would have Jim's... funny thing that I had flashbacks from S1 Jim saying that he didn't want his "dead end job in a small mid market paper supply company" to be his life's achievement as Jim was referring to "new Jim" as such after realizing that that is what has happened to him. Some pretty amusing moments but not laugh out loud for me. And I really don't mind this version of Nellie tonight. I never thought that I would've said that as I couldn't stand her character all of last season save for the end eps. It'll be interesting to see how they try to develop the "new guys", and I'm glad that we got the closure for Kelly and Ryan, even though they might make cameo pop ins later.
I actually thought it was a great episode. It wasn't overly hilarious or anything, but I think it was a good set up for the rest of the season. Lots of stuff going on! I'm especially happy to see Jim potentially doing something with his life. He's been talking about how he's stuck in a miserable job for years, so it's great to see that may be coming to an end.
Well I think it could make a better season than most people were expecting, there is some interesting stuff going on especially with Jim. The whole Andy vs Nellie thing though is old, he is acting like a bully which that fun or interesting IMO.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Loved Dwight trying to out-do Dwight Jr.
