Loved watching the Bickersons..um I mean Nate and Duke...working together to try and find Audrey. Awww, the look on Duke's face when Audrey hugged Nate. I was convinced for most of the episode that Rosalind was the kidnapper.
Loved the character stuff...especially that last scene with Duke and Nathan but Im not really sure what I think about the trouble of the week.
Awesome show last night. Loved everything. I even when on ustream to talk to Eric Balflour. He is Mr Awesome himself. So good to the fans. Glad it's back. I hope we have another season after this one.
weird episode with no solid answers even with the trouble of the week. more questions pop without the old ones to at least answered in a small degree. Still it was awesome . I loved Duke/Nathan working together , the look in the hug kinda weird me out since Duke seemed fine to mention Audrey and Nathan being in love with her couple scenes ago . Emily Rose was outstanding .
Some things as Audrey being 6 months in Haven wasnt covered as 6 months knowing about Lucy,Sarah and her being them or 6 months being on Haven. I cant see if it is a plot hole or not. The new mystery of the hunter and Audrey have feelings for the colorado kid and him being alive is the new mystery i hope they wrap properly the whole plot in the upcoming episodes.
The new season is explosive and the characters switch and we question their motives as Nathan not being so the nice guy , They want i guess to switch the whole bad guy good guy with Duke. I hope in the end they are both good and they finally put aside their issues and fight for the good of the town .
Liked the episode, especially the first half. Duke/Nathan the former friends have such a good vibe with each other, they are just so much fun. It reminds me of how much I missed Duke last season (please no more Jason Priestleys). I feel like the point of the case of the week was to set up the moral ambiguity between the symbol side and the Crocker side: Duke can on some level "help" people or at least families or the town. And Nathan's solutions aren't always sunshine and happiness. The interplay could be fun, especially if it has more Duke/Nathan interaction.
I feel like the love triangle thing is a bit forced right now, it got dropped almost entirely in season 2 and then they tacked Nathan on like an afterthought. It felt like Nathan only fell for her because she's the only one he can feel, which intellectually isn't the case, but that is the rationale they keep presenting to us, which I'm not super fond of. I enjoyed the slightly flirty banter without angst that they all had in S1, hope they bring that back.
What is up with the Colorado Kid? Barely mentioned for 2 seasons and now I"m supposed to care again? Do I need to finally read the story so I know what they are talking about? Because past a nickname and a death and photo, what deets do we have about him?
well the show is based on SK's book Colorado kid so..i dont know i always thought if they based the show in the book then the pilot and the case of the colorado kid was important. As for the forcing part of the triangle i agree it kinda seems out of no where because of season 2 duke/audrey/nathan mostly because they go with look duke "might" have feelings for Audrey too but she hugs someone else. Easy choice of writers to pimp up the game because you know triangles are easier to work and go with. I think the idea of he feels for her is only because he can feel her is a way to keep them apart and put Nathan with "someone" else for awhile i mean you cant have 13 episodes nathan/audrey all happy and duke happy looking at them . Last year they brought Eve and gave him a proper storyline now they continue the idea of darkness and anger he has but they enter Nathan as well into it and they expand their relationship .
I think they mix way too many elements here and they might lose the ball and the game .
Love the eppisode. I'm so happy Haven is back. The only thing that bugged me throughout the episode was Duke's hair. Someone needs to chop it off pronto!
I'm so happy it's back! This episode felt a little different than the previous seasons, but it was still awesome. I'm glad they upgraded Dwight to a regular character :)
LOVED IT !!!!! so good!!! I was fangirling the intire episode, specially Nathan/Audrey moments!! I just hope they don't make Nathan too much of a "bad guy", I always think of him as the sweet nice guy. and am I wrong to think that Nathan might be the Colorado kid?? somehow it makes me think its him...

It was really weird! but i loved it. finally some motion on the big mysteries.
ReplyDeletevery strange episode the storyline develop was weir and crazy
ReplyDeleteYay they didn't come up with some contrived reason to reset their relationship to just friends. Or at least not yet.
ReplyDeleteLooks like another season of really weird mysteries.
yes maybe there is hope for nathan and audrey despite the promo.

I agree. The alien thing was weird... but Nathan and Duke working together made up for it.

I loved it! Even with the random Duke has feelings for Audrey storyline.
ReplyDeleteSuper awesome epi.
ReplyDeleteI love Duke's hair. I said that to myself as I watched Haven.
ReplyDeleteI agree. No more Jason Priestly. I love the fact that Nathan can only feel Audrey's touch. Nathans reaction is so hot.
ReplyDeleteNot for a second did I believe Rosalind was being held captive in the next room.
ReplyDeleteNathan and Duke working together is fun and sexy ;)
ReplyDeleteNot in a gay way.
ReplyDeletei love it. it was awesome.
