Thanks to Smallville944 for the heads up.

THE SUMMER IS OVER AND SERENA HAS GONE MISSING / BARRY WATSON (“7th HEAVEN”) AND ANDREA GABRIEL (“LOST”) GUEST STAR

After a brief encounter abroad, Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) make a promise to each other about their relationship, which leaves them once again apart. Dan (Penn Badgley), with some help from an unlikely ally, Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg), is writing a scathing tell-all book that can only mean trouble. As the sole head of The Spectator, Nate (Chace Crawford) is making his own decisions and is ready to go up against Gossip Girl. As word spreads that Serena (Blake Lively) is missing, the gang bands together to find her and are shocked by what they find. Kelly Rutherford, Matthew Settle and Kaylee DeFer also star. Robert John Burke and Sofia Black-D’Elia (“Skins”) guest star.

Mark Piznarski directed the episode written by Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz (#601).

  1. The Dan / Georgina stuff could be interesting. I have serious doubts about the entertainment value of the rest of this.

  2. Oddly enough, I'm anxious to see what will come up for Lilly/Rufus. There were by far one of the best things in GG (until they got married and, obviously, stopped being interesting).

  3. Yep. Actually, I don't even care about the core cast because I doubt the writers can come up with anything truly satisfying for an ending in 10 episodes. But I think that Ivy's story line will be the most interesting (mainly because she's taking down the wicked witch of the UES aka Lily 'been married too many times to use her full name'.

  4. If Ivy's main goal is to take down Lily this season then I am definitely rooting for Ivy.

  5. 10 episodes to go... I hope they bring their A game to give everyone a fitting end!
