And now for the first FRINGE FRIDAY of the 5th and final season!

Well, but for the grace of Fox Broadcasting executives, Fringe is back for it's 5th and final season.
I'm keeping this short because I'm posting so late in the day, but season 5 is said to be one long serialized romp to the finish line...and I can say that personally, that's what I've always wanted out of Fringe.
I always enjoyed it for the blending of serialized and procedural aspects because it gave us a home to come back to on a weekly basis that was familiar enough but so much would happen in a 42 minute interval, we'd still have our collective minds blown by the end of the episode... It was a great way to keep things moving but not too fast so we could have each and every nuanced moment fleshed out...It's much like savoring one's last meal if you want to be morbid about it. We're here, at the apex of Fringe's existence: they've set it up from the pilot to go through and provide us with the story of the observers, and we're going to have a season, not just an episode to handle the biggest threat to mankind yet!
Without further verbose ramblings, please let me also say that I've added a few new tunes to the playlist! I pulled them from an EW article that had 4-5 great songs to listen to in anticipation of tonight's premiere! One of the songs featured is actually in tonight's episode, so there's a bonus for you! I have also included a couple other new artists like The xx, for your listening pleasure.
