I figured Claudia's diving into the intricate workings of the warehouse meant there were bigger plans for her than being an agent. Glad they're starting to play with that.
Interesting. I never got that feeling. Leena is the one character they never seemed to ever know what to do with. She was off the canvas for a majority of the first and second seasons. In fact it wasn't until her 'no, you can't put those artifacts near each other' moments this season that they seemed to give her any specific purpose within the warehouse.
Right but that's why i had that impression,i thought they finally found her niche in the show. Everyone else has a part except Leena, well does have the upkeep of the inn.Right now i don't even remember what is was,a hotel, or inn?
I certainly hope not. I've never appreciated a show completely changing a character to please the a group of fans who wants that sort of thing. If the character already started out as gay, like Jinks, then it's fine. But making an obviously heterosexual character, since the beginning, all-of-a-sudden gay, would be, imo, cheap writing, just to please that particular group of fans. I don't get why Myka and H.G. can't just love each other as friends, without making it more than it is/should be. It's like Hollywood can't fathom regular friendships without trying to give everyone and their pets some kind of sexual tension.
I would very much like to see the show explore Pete and Myka more. Early on, they did explore these two's chemistry, and I rather liked it. Now they've settled into a brother-and-sister/friends relationship, which is sweet, but ultimately not satisfying enough for me.
There was an episode where Mrs. Frederic said she planned on passing on her "connection" with the Warehouse to Claudia. Still, before the show expressly said it in that previous episode (sometime last season), I too thought Leena would be a nice, suitable choice to be Mrs. Frederic's successor.
Also, all six of the on-site Warehouse staff are platonic friends at this point. So it's not like everyone and their pets has some kind of sexual tension on this particular show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I guess Mrs. Frederic is taking on Claudia as an apprentice.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, that was intense.
Wow! Oh this is not going to be a fun episode!
ReplyDeleteWhy did i get the impression Leena was going to be Mrs.Frederic's apprentice?

ReplyDeleteOwens's always been the wildcard
ReplyDeleteShould say: 'Leena's always been the wildcard.' THANK YOU AUTOCORRECT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNot very likely Myka does not swing that way she loves HG Wells!
ReplyDeleteIt's a Bed & Breakfast.

ReplyDeleteAnd i just finished last weeks show, either tonight or tomorrow i'll finish up Mondays! Maybe i should start making crib sheets,lol...
nah. you don't need a crib sheet. Just a web site where you can ask a question and dozens will know even the most esoteric answer. :-)

ReplyDeleteMyka could be bisexual or bicurious.
