Arrow Cancelled Shows Elementary Misc Shows Nashville The Mindy Project UK ShowsThanks to our friends over at TV.COM for sending us the following.
For TV fans, September is kind of like Christmas: So many new shows! But which ones will seem like the presents you've been asking for all year and which ones will be the equivalent of re-gifted sweaters that are three sizes too big? We've seen every pilot that will make it to your TV screen this fall, and here are the ten shows we're looking forward to most.
Do you agree with their Top 10? Sounds off in comments.

I only found out about Hunted, with Melissa George, a few days ago and I gotta say that looks pretty damn good.
ReplyDeleteAs for this list, I don't agree with any of it except for Go On, and maybe Last Resort (cause the adorable Autumn Reeser is in it). But the only shows I'm going to be checking out this Fall are the 3 I mentioned thus far and Revolution.
How The Mindy Project made it above Revolution is beyond me. But to each their own.
Of their list I am only interested in Vegas, Arrow & Last Resort. Plus Revolution and 666 Park Ave from their 'almost made the top 10' list. A lot of the other shows listed really do not appeal to me in the slightest.
ReplyDeleteArrow and Last Result are the ones I'm really interested in and I'll also check out Revolution.
ReplyDeleteThe one I knew nothing about until now is Hunted and I'll give it a try if only because Melissa George is in it.
I've already seen sonme of these pilots or chuncks of them.
ReplyDelete- Arrow is good but not really my thing.
-Nashville probably wont make it to my list though it was better than expected.
-Mindy Project-no
-Revolution-no
-666-seen the pilot was better than expected will probably give it a go
-Go On-no
-The New Normal-maybe though I rarely stick with comedies for more than 5 minutes. I already have Mellissa and Joeyand thats probably all I can handle of American humour.
-Last Resort-is growing on me, I had my doubts but I'm starting to feel more encouraged about it
Arrow is so my thing. But, as I am constantly harping still would love to see Justin Hartley as the Arrow.
ReplyDeleteRevolution I will watch. Saw so much of it at Comic Con. It's looked good.
Coma is another show that they pushed at Comic Con. Going to watch this show too.
666 Park Ave looks different. Sort of a American Horror Story at an apartment. Going to check this one out.
Elementary will give it a try but I am doubtful. Lucy Li as Watson. lol Not so much.
The rest well no.
Arrow for sure, will just complete my Wed with Supernatural. Going to give Revolution a try, I mean come on, Eric Kripke is involved. Not into county music so Nashville is a no go, will try Elementary as I enjoy watching both of the actors.
ReplyDeleteBen and Kate seems to be making all the critics' lists. Alrighty then, will try. Vegas is a must-see for me. Read Coma when the book first came out. The book was better than the movie. A TV miniseries just doesn't sound promising. Might want to watch Arrow, but don't know if I'll like it. Everyone's raving about The Mindy Project, but the promos looked bad. Go On looks good and I'll probably like it and stick with it. Nashville seems a bit like Smash. Don't know if I'll like it. 666 looks good, hope the quality holds up.
ReplyDeleteEven though I am quite happy about some things on the list (such as Last Resort coming first), I must say that I took a look at their list from last year and it doesn't sound too inspiring. They had Prime Suspect, Ringer and The X Factor in there, whereas completely shutting down New Girl or Once Upon a Time or Revenge (though everyone shut down Revenge to be fair). But well, we shall wait and see. Bring on Fall TV Season!
ReplyDeleteJust Arrow for me. I lost interest in everything else, to be honest.
ReplyDeleteTo me, the most interesting ones are Elementary, Arrow, Last Resort and maybe Revolution. This is the first time I'm hearing about Hunted but that actually sounds interesting too.
ReplyDeleteI really don't get the Mindy hype. She might be likeable as a person, but her show looks like a Bridget Jones meets Grey's Anatomy made for TV yet somehow slightly indie movie.
ReplyDeleteI still don't really get how Last Resort can work as a series.
"I only found out about Hunted, with Melissa George, a few days ago and I gotta say that looks pretty damn good."
ReplyDeleteI'd be interested in that show if it wasn't for Melissa George. As an actress, she's just so darn boring.
Really? She's the main draw for me to the show. Even in movies I don't like that she's in I personally find I still like her as an actress. But, to each their own.
