Why do Comedy actors get paid more than Drama actors? Specifically the #1 in each category.
ReplyDeleteMark Harmon is 10 times better actor than Ashton Kutcher can ever HOPE to be. Besides which, Ashton is the "new guy" on Two and a Half Men. Shouldn't his salary level go to Jon Cryer who has been with the show since the start?
Wow, the monkey from Animal practice makes the list?!
ReplyDeleteI thought Michael C. Hall had signed a 24 million deal with Showtime for 2 more years of Dexter, so 24 episodes?
ReplyDeletedamn that monkey is gonna buy alot of Bananas
ReplyDeleteNot only does Ellen Pompeo, from Greys make $350k, so do her co-stars Patrick Dempsey and Sandra Oh.
ReplyDeletePer episode?!That's just crazy...
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how these things work, but I'm surprised that Kaley Cuoco makes more than Jim Parsons or Johnny Galecki.
I wonder who actually gets the money the monkey makes
ReplyDeleteI am making an assumption that what is listed are edited highlights designed to make you buy TV Guide to get the fuill picture. So chances are that Johnny Galecki adn Jim parson do earn the same, but they've been edited out of the list that has been pre-released.
ReplyDeleteOf course I may be assuming wrong.....
Dexter is cable, I think this list is for broadcast only
ReplyDeleteno you are right, the full list is only available in the magazine
ReplyDelete12,000 per episode for Crystal! Ummm, better start teaching my cats some tricks!
ReplyDeleteKevin Bacon makes, per episode, the same of Jersey Shore's Pauly D. I need a moment to take this in.
ReplyDeleteThere sure are a lot of overpaid people in this world
ReplyDeletethe owner?!
ReplyDeletewow. mark harmon makes 500 000 per episode. NCIS is in its 9th season...!!! thats like ... WOW!!! I think my calculator just broke...that like around 100 million dollars by now, if my calculations are correct. but my zero button broke so who knows...
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense, thanks.Well, even if I was living in the US and had access to TV Guide, let's just say I wouldn't run to buy a magazine to read how many thousands some people earn in about a week.
ReplyDeleteI think also laurie of house receive the same amount of money that harmon had ..????
ReplyDeleteHouse isn't on the air anymore
ReplyDeleteI'll be on the net soon enough any way
ReplyDeleteComedies earn more as they have a lot more viewers and I'd guess there's more time spent in production per minute of episode because the actors are laughing too so there need to be more retakes.
ReplyDeletei second that emotion!
ReplyDeletehow is Kaley getting paid more than Jim or Johnny or r they getting paid more but not disclosing?
ReplyDeleteCheck your numbers again ;) He didn't get that from the very beginning, more likely since season 6, when he started to be an executive producer also.
ReplyDeleteEither way, he deserves every penny of it, IMO :)
oh ya he completely deserves it. no question about it...:)
