Majandra Delfino has been cast in the NBC project, titled The Farm. The comedy focuses on Dwight Shrute (Rainn Wilson) working as beet farmer and running a bed and breakfast. Former Office showrunner Paul Lieberstein is writing the script.
Delfino will play Fannie Schrute, described as Dwight’s “pseudo-intellectual lefty” younger sister, who previously fled from Schrute farm life for Boston.
