For those who could not get the first video to work, the video has been reloaded and should now work.

Update: Looks like there might be an issue with the video below. I'm re-uploading and will update when the new version is ready.

  3. not working for me either.
Could someone maybe just tell me how much Supernatural is featured?

    ReplyDelete
  4. the worth tv combination of the week for one series beauty because that will be full of (BLAH,BLAH) the only good thing will be vampire the rest of the shows could be very crap,no creativity and bad look whatever the final outcome they deserve a change

    ReplyDelete
  5. very short exposure like always

    ReplyDelete
  6. Maybe it's working now - it played for me. Supernatural was featured for about 30 seconds in total, if that, which you'd pretty much expect. The video was more targeted toward new shows. We got long previews of shows like Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, etc., which is fine, but I'm mad that SPN got such little time because Gossip Girl got a decent look. Supernatural was pretty much mentioned in passing, and got a clip or two in the little montage at the beginning. The only thing I'm taking from this is that Arrow looks pretty cool and could end up being a great lead-in for Supernatural in the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I think the only reason GG got exposure was because it is the series finale. Other than that all the returning shows got the blink and you miss it treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Cult will be a good surprise, I know it. I'm totally waiting for this.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Cult looks pretty awesome. Is Arrow only 13 episodes or 13 episodes with the option of a back 9? Because if it is just going to be 13 for this season, than Wednesday 8pm is the best spot for Cult.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. Supernatural's scenes (all the 2 of them) in the clip were all old and it was only mentioned, right?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Every returning show except Gossip Girl were only mentioned. But the clips were in the beginning montage and yes there were old, but there really shouldn't be a gripe about that.

Fall previews are mostly to show all the trailers for the new shows

  12. Thank you, I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss anything. Thank you for replying. :o)

So everything is just as guessed:

    - Arrow looks fracking awesome. Possibly the only show on CW right now really worth the time. So unlike CW shows.

    - Emily Owens M.D looks somewhat promising. Kind of hoping for more of a
Scrubs-like wibe and comedy than soap opera high school CW cliches.

    - Cult looks decent mix and match of various shows

    - Beauty&Beast looks like a daytime soap opera mixed with every scifi cliche possible, glorifying an abusive relationship and full of sexism...Also K.Kreuk is a huge no no no no. Also oh god the cliches...

    - GG, 90210 etc look like they lived a few seasons too long.
    - TVD continues its trainwrecky run of random plotlines so its no wonder there's no new footage. gotta hype it all up so they can spend entire season yet again doing absolutely nothing, but throwing random filler plotlines and sexism at you.

  14. I realized that about two minutes after I posted this, but was too lazy to come back and comment on it haha... that's what I figure, too - I assumed that The Vampire Diaries would get the same treatment, since it seems to be the show the CW enjoys promoting the most, but the video stopped working in the middle of the Beauty and the Beast stuff. Anyway, in closing, I get why they promoted Gossip Girl, too. I think that we Supernatural fans just bristle really easily because the network seems to forget that the show exists sometimes :)

  15. Very excited about Arrow and Cult but I don't know about the rest.

I'm definitely staying clear from the Carry Diaries thing, but I'll give the other two a chance.
Emily Owens could be fun, mainly because of the main actress. My expectations of Beauty and the Beast are not very high, but we'll see.
    I'm loving the Arrow-Supernatural combination,that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  16. looked like everybody had so much fun!
Excited for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!!!
    i love love stories...romance..
starting love kristin and jay ;)

I think they're expecting a full season order. I'm assuming Cult will take a failing new series ' place. Like say, Beauty and The Beast:)

  18. Great video! Thank you for the Share. The Arrow looks awesome, and can't wait to see it but i'm a little bit worried about that dark arrow how will effect the story and the hero himself. Also Elementary looks interesting but with female Watson it, would be kind a strange because no matter how much you try there will be a sexual tension between them, and that may make the series not very watchable. And finally Beauty and the beast, here was shown as a superhero series with a little bit of Jake 2.0 and it looks interesting but not for me. But great video all around.

What I love: Arrow and Cult. They look amazing and I'm superexcited for them.
What I kinda like: Emily Owens and Carrie Diaries, they do have some charm so I'll be checking them out.
I really don't like Beauty And The Beast, the trailer does nothing for me. It looks bad.

But I liked this preview, just too bad that they haven't really previewed any of the older series like Supernatural and Nikita (except GG)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Beauty and the Beast is starting to grow on me....Argh!!!
Forbidden romance....procedural, with element of supernatural/superhero and a bit comedy...
will definitely watch this show! awesome thursdays with TVD!
thanks spoiler tv for the share

  21. Looks like CW will again be my most watched network..Supernatural, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, Beauty and the Beast, Hart of Dixie, Cult and will try Emily Owens and Carrie Diaries.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Beauty and the Beast reminds me of Moonlight. Looks like a good show

    ReplyDelete
  23. InvestedInYourFutureAugust 22, 2012 at 10:03 PM

Moonlight actually looked decent, had capable lead actress and decent pedigree behind those making the show. Also it did not smell of every possible scifi trope thrown at us.

Beauty And The Beast looks like a cross between silly 80's "supernatural cop procedurals", mexican soap operas and twilight.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Will watch Emily Owens MD because Justin Hartley is in it. I still think he should be The Arrow. But, who am I?

Beauty and the Beast, I want it to make it. But, of course, all the critics hate it. Ugh

A lot of great actors in Cult. Will have to check it out for sure.

Still mad that the CW canceled The Secret Circle.

So glad to see The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and Nikita made it for another year. Wooo hooo

    ReplyDelete
  25. Beauty and the beast!!! I love KK .Saw the pilot at Comic Con and I'm hooked. Much better than TSC. Emily MD looks like crap though

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think Cult is going to be the new Ringer. At least we still have Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Arrow is looking awesome - that's the only definite watch for me. Cult also looks pretty interesting.
It was nice to see some of Freema Agyeman in the promo stuff - she's the only thing to draw me to The Carrie Diaries.
Emily Owens seems like pretty standard stuff (and the inner voice thing is annoying) and Beauty and the Beast just doesn't look good at all.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Okay, watch for SPN, stay for Arrow.
Arrow looks FRIGGING awesome in every way. Sexy man, sexy plot, sexy show! Looking forward to this big time. AND IT SHARES the same day as my favorite show, SPN! Hot dang!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Beauty and the Beast is very..meh. I still can't get over the fact that the Beast is actually a hot guy most of the time. It should just be called Beauty and the Hulk. Plus.. way heavy on the inner monologue.

    ReplyDelete
  30. ..And Cult looks way too inteligent to be on CW. Just sayin'. It has insane possibility but I hope it has the crew to pull it off!

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Carrie Diaries, Beauty and the Beast and Arrow!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm with you on the Freema Agyeman part. I rewatched her parts so many times. That show may keep me just for her. It's nice to see her on American TV, since I miss her so bad on Doctor Who.
And Cult looks pretty badass. It may help me get over Ringer (who am I kidding? That's not happening).

    ReplyDelete
  33. No surprise the only new cw shows that interested me: Arrow and Cult still do... I've always kinda like Kristen K, but B&tB looks pretty bad..

    ReplyDelete
  34. not intelligent, just really stupid. I found it to be ridiculous. The concept isnt hard to understand at all.

    ReplyDelete
  35. it would have to be a spectacular failure otherwise Cult will I assume be on the schedule mid season. At the moment I cant see CW cancelling any show no matter how bad the ratings due to their more hours of original tv stance so Cult will probably be landing on Friday between cycles of ANTM.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Arrow looks as if it is going to be a fun show, the more I see of it the more I think I should give it a chance. I want to like Cult, but it really doesn't look like typical CW material, which means that I assume they will try and make it so and then it will probably loose anything about it that was interesting to start with. As for the rest of the new shows? I am going to pass.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Cult is supposedly one of the worst new show's on any network this year.
    It looks absolutely awful.
Beauty & the Beast will get cancelled for sure. Looks dreadful

    ReplyDelete
  38. One year from now half of these pretty people will be probably crying in the corner because at least half of these shows will be cancelled. They won't be looking so happy. Welcome to the CW!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Cult looks really promising. Can't wait to see the pilot!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Last year I have tried all three of CW's shows. I gave up on Ringer after like 8 episodes, I couldn't bear it anymore, I thought it was really bad. I watched the entire season of the scret circle and was really sorry to see it go, as I thought it improved drastically at the end (althought it makes sense ratings wise) and I have also watched the entire season of HoD (it's not my cup of tea, but it's a cute show, more women oriented I guess). This year, I am only going to watch Arrow (which I am incredibly excited about) and Cult (even if I am less and less excited about this). Carrie Diaries and Emily Owens are big NOs for me and beauty and beast I will only watch if it is renewed and if I hear good stuff about it, both of which I sincerely doubt!

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's official...I am NOT part of what The CW considers their target demographic. The opening section talking about cameras, photo booths, beautiful people, and the frenetic images...were just not appealing. I'm more interested in finding out about the shows airing this season.

"Maime Gummer" what a name to have to get through high school with.... I hope they get to the meat of this show pretty quickly because I had enough of her neurotic inner monologue in the clip reel.

Very curious about Arrow. Lightening up on the VO of the Beauty and the Beast trailer helped a lot. At least the trailer was watchable. Still not sure I'll be able to put up with it.

I seriously want to check out the Cult pilot. If the show lives up to that trailer...it might be the CWs blow out hit of this season.

    ReplyDelete
  42. If the pilot is actually that bad (I haven't seen any reviews on it yet but will) they need to hire whoever edited the trailer. Because I find the trailer leaves be very intrigued by the show. Where as the trailers for Beauty and The Beast have either left me staring in disbelief or completely turned off.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I agree with this comment. We often have the case of trailers that don't do the shows justice, but it is rare that a trailer is as misleading as the critics are making the Cult trailer sound like. I guess we will have to wait and see

    ReplyDelete
  44. Arrow has a 13 episode order with the possibility of a back 9. Cult, I'm sure will replace Top Model in January. Top Model was only renewed for one more season which is the one beginning tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The Carrie Diaries Look's Absolultey Terrible!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Well, Cult is quite similar to The Following on Fox supposedly (but then again that's what we all thought about OUAT and Grimm this time last year and they so different and good in their own right) but I've heard that The Following isn't that great either so I'm just going to have to see for myself. I'm giving both shows 4 episodes (that's one more than I usually do). A kind of different premise and a decent cast, some sparks could fly or it could die.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Can't wait for Arrow (any new bit of info just makes that show look even more badass), and the new preview for Cult was really cool and creepy. Cult looks like one of the those shows that could either be a brilliant, addictive puzzle full of plot twists and tantalizing clues, or a complete muddled mess and disaster. If done right, I think I could really

    ReplyDelete
  48. If done right, I think I could really dig this show - depends on how tightly plotted and well done it is. The cast is good.
The other three freshmen shows don't interest me (can you tell I'm not the type of viewer the CW typically targets?), although Emily Owens and Carrie Diaries could potentially be cute and fun. Beauty and the Beast looks utterly dreadful, though, and combined with the high expectations of being paired with Vampire Diaries, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't even last a full season.
Basically, next CW season for me will be Nikita (yay!) and Arrow, with Cult joining in come January. They need more of these kind of shows, and less of the Gossip Girl/90210 variety.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'm wondering what they'll do with Cult in midseason. I assume it won't replace Gossip Girl on Mondays as 90210's companion, because that slot has The Carrie Diaries' name written all over it. The other option is replacing Top Model on Fridays, and while Cult/Nikita sounds like an effective pairing, would the CW really premiere a new show on Friday? It wouldn't be pretty.
Alternatively, as someone already said, Cult could replace another freshman show if it fails. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens to Beauty and the Beast, which seems craptastic. A Cult/TVD pairing on Thursdays, with B&tB either being cancelled or being moved to Fridays, would make some sense, as they want TVD fans to tune into Cult for Matt Davis.

    ReplyDelete
  50. We need more stuff like Nikita, Arrow and Cult on the CW, and less stuff like Gossip Girl and 90210. I agree that Cult has great potential - if written well, it can be an addictive mystery/puzzle, full of clues and plot twists, with the creepy theme of blurring the lines between reality and fiction (and some fun meta humor on top). Here's hoping the CW execs leave Cult's writers alone and allow them to stick to their original vision, like they've (thankfully) done with Nikita so far.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think they should use it to replace Top Model which I think will be pulling atrocious numbers on Friday. I actually believe that hadn't they renewed it so early on last year it would not even have comen back. This being said, I agree with you that premiering it on Friday might be its death, so it will probably take BB spot in January, regardless of whether or not BB is canceled (it either goes to Friday to be paired up with Nikita or is canceled)

    ReplyDelete
  52. The Carrie Diaries Stupidest Show on The CW! AnnaSophia Robbs Just Poor.

    ReplyDelete
  53. i think it will be a midseason replacement for which show doesnt get a full season order

    ReplyDelete
  54. My lovely girl Freema! Geez, and now I'm tempted to give The Carrie Diaries a shot, if only to have more of her on my TV. Freema, the stuff I do for you! Arrow still looks interesting and I just might watch Emily Owens, just to see if it's truly the Grey's Anatomy/Scrubs mashup that it looks to be. And Cult, mhm. Seems... interesting. Might watch.

    ReplyDelete
  55. This video has convinced me that I am NOT going to even try Emily Owens. Voice overs, love triangles, and high school antics as adults - no thank you. I will however give Beauty and the Beast a 2-3 episode shot even though I am not a fan of Kreuk. I liked the original and I want the CW to have more than 1 new hit on their hands. Same goes for Carrie Diaries to my surprise since I never got into Sex and the City. Arrow is a definite watch for at least 6 episodes, since it seems action-packed and it's before Supernatural. Cult is the one I am most nervous about because I am very intrigued but if it doesn't catch on quickly I fear I am destined for a cliffhanger that never gets resolved.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I also wanted to give a chance to more than one CW show but I am not as brave as you and BB is not doing it for me... Carrie Diaries and Emily Owens are even bigger NOs for me. That leaves me with Cult. I was sooo looking forward to that show but the reviews have left me worried. My expectations have vastly decreased. Especially because this is a type of show that can either go very well or very bad, and everything seems to point out to the later. I will still give it a fair shot of course, but it is sounding more and more like it will be this year's Ringer...

  57. OMG IT'S MARTHA FROM DOCTOR WHO!!!

  58. I'm still mad about them because they canceled The secret circle!! :(
