The Big Bang Theory Emmy nominee Mayim Bialik says she is “in pain” but not, as gossiped by TMZ, at risk of losing any fingers, as the result of a car accident she was involved in on Wednesday. In fact, Bialik plans to report for work on the Big Bang set Thursday, as scheduled, with production not expected to be affected, our sister site Deadline reports.

    Glad she's OK. I freaked out a little when the first I heard of this was the Zap2It article titled "'Big Bang Theory' Star Mayim Bialik could lose finger after car accident." So happy it's minor!

    Man, it's been a rough 48 hours to be in show biz, first RDJ on the set of Iron Man 3 and now our lovely Mayim Bialik!!! Luckily neither of them were too seriously hurt. but I'm afraid of what's next now!
