We can't give away too many spoilers, but we did grill Davis for every bit of information we could possibly squeeze out of him. He's almost finished breaking the story for the third season and will get together with his writing team very soon to begin work on the show. Season 3 isn't set to premiere until 2013, but hopefully these 10 tidbits will help tide you over until you can dig into the real thing.

  1. The only thing keeping me from whining loudly about the hiatus before season 3 starts is the fact that it'll be 24 eps.

  2. "Isaac is going to be a big part of next season". I need season 3 now.

  4. Yes! I love Isaac, and you could see him getting closer to Scott already in season 2... but I don't want everyone to abandon Derek. He derserves at least someone, but everyone is either always leaving him, hating him, or trying to kill him...= '(

  5. The first I thought after the finale was what's the deal with Jackson's eyes. His transformation has been really messed up. First he was a puppet to a couple of nutcases, and now he is a blue eyed werewolf... This guy can't catch a break with his supernatural wolf self. I was really hoping he would be alive, and I was happy that it ended up that way.
I wished, however, that Gerard would just roll over and die. Probably the worst written character of the season, and of course not because he was the villain. His character was not really all that thought through and pretty cliched. From what you know about him in the finale, thinking back, some things just don't track. The show would be better off just moving forward and pretending that did not happen. They have some super interesting things coming up from what you saw in those last scenes, and this guy would be a distraction anyway.
Alpha pack? That sounds a little paradoxical to say. A pack of alphas don't make sense to me at the moment, but I am sure they have something in mind. I hope there is no mega-alpha that rules over the pack of alphas. I hope they dive into the the impossibility that is an alpha pack and make it so that an alpha pack does not really have a leader and they function purely on instinct and chaos. The dynamics of such a pack would be really interesting to see.
