SUITS Preview: Episode 2.10 - "High Noon"
Because posting "(Not the one CJ wrote)" was too on the nose, I've left it at a remarkably neutral "alternate" label.
However, CJ was not kidding about this episode, folks. The entire episode turns on the sting and lasting effects of loss. Mike, in the wake of his grandmother's death, is unstable and ready to make a mistake at every turn. The fate of the firm lies with Louis and he makes his stance known in the struggle between Pearson and Hardman.
The week that takes place within the timeline of the episode has everything from this season come into play and lay it all out on the line with very fully realized consequences. There isn't a dull moment, and by the end you'll be ready to fast forward to next season as quickly as possible.
Characters Welcome
There were so many great character moments in this episode that I just cannot get over. Mike's fitting (possibly tear-jerking) and succinct speech... Donna being awesome, Rachel and her unbelievable ability to take charge in a dire situation and help Mike out of his foolish behavior, and Harvey's special bonding time with Mike in the midst of so much angst that leads to a great, slightly hysterical (and yet ill-advised) trek to the office.
There's so much more to this episode that I will leave for you to discover!
A few more quotations to expect in 2.10:
-"Don't you dare touch his balls!"
-"I repay my debts...I'm a Lannister;"
-"These pretzels are making me thirsty!" (Seinfeld reference!)
I can't wait to see this! love,I repay my bills ..i'm a Lannister,ha!

ReplyDeleteThey are referring to this episode as the summer finale (instead of "season finale") which usually means there is more coming before next summer. This could mean they have maybe 6-8 more episodes this season possibly starting in January. However, historically Suits is a summer show, as it didn't come back from last season until this June...so we'll just have to see.
ReplyDeleteNo date yet Paul.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as we have it we'll post it in the Episode Database
