Suits - 2.10 High Noon - Preview
Whenever I get an email asking if I want to review an episode of Suits I always jump at the chance. Once the little one was in bed, the girlfriend had left for work, my pizza was ready I sat down in peace and quiet ready for the summer finale of Suits excited for the climax of the past 10 episodes. Disappointingly I hate to report to you all though that I was not satisfied with the result, my pizza was horrible. However the episode of Suits was amazing, and here is why.
The episode does not ease you in at all and jumps straight into the action, the focus being who will be the managing partner. Mike who is still recovering from the loss of his Grandmother has Rachel there for support and we have some great scenes of them together. Patrick Adams (Mike) has a stand out performance this episode and for once overshadows Gabriel Macht (Harvey). We are introduced to a new character Tess (Elisabeth Hower) an old school friend of Mike's who meets him at the funeral. She helps to play on the main theme of the episode (and should have been the title), smart choices.
Harvey's main focus is trying to remove Hardman from the law firm once and for all which is not easy with Louis now doing everything in his power as new Senior partner to remove Harvey. I really can not say anything more about the plot without giving to much of the story away.
However I can say that this is one of the best episodes of Suits to date. It's fast paced, exciting and really does leave you wanting more before the end of the episode is up. We are once again left on a cliffhanger that will have you talking about until it returns. All of the cast do a stand out job and really play to their strengths. If you did no hate Louis, you really will by the end of the episode.
Below I will post some hints/teasers of what is involved in the episode but I will leave a space for those that do not want to read. This is a stand out episode of suits and an episode worth watching. Make sure you check out the Summer finale of Suits on USA Network 10/9c Thursday 23rd August.
