    Hmm, maybe I'll have to check out the episode(s) that Joel McHale is in, would it make sense if I haven't seen this show yet?

    You may appreciate for Joel, but the show's story would not make a lot of sense to you, no.


    It's had a heavily serialized story that's been going on for 4 seasons now. You would be missing a lot if not all of the back story to be able to sort out most of the sub-plots.


    That said, this is a turning point or reconstruction of the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club being as the Vice President is taking over and the ex-Pres has been ousted, so there may be a lot of "new beginnings" for some characters and you can catch on to the current sub-plots.


    It's one of the better shows on TV and worth a watch in my opinion, but if you like one episode at all I would suggest you go back and start at the beginning to really make sense of the series and appreciate the many layers of the show.

    Still loving that Joel will be on SoA. This show always has strange things for guest stars to do!
