Very little new footage (the scene with Miles and his road companion is extended, and is that David Lyons? -If it is, then he becomes one of the faces behind the Monroe Republic, as his character's name is General Bass Monroe...)
I am actually really surprised by it! - I give them credit for trying so hard to reach out to a genre that hasn't done well on their network. I am still so perturbed over "Awake"...
I know can you believe i am getting tired of seeing the same thing over and over,ha! Revolution finally came out with a twitter account, was wondering why they didn't have one for SDCC?
Good to see something new (to me at least) from the show. I'm very excited about this show (still feeling a bit iffy about the young lead actresses' performance from the sneaks I've seen so far) and will be definitely watching this - probably first off the dvr since it's in a crowded timeslot.
Let's hope not. Genre TV needs a hit. It's that simple. If we want other networks to pick up sci fi, we as sci fi fans have to show that it is in their interest to do so.
I'm nervous because I have high expectations but the fact that NBC is promoting this as one of their next big things gives me a lot of encouragement. Sci fi needs a hit even more than NBC does.
Oooh interesting. I'd seen that weird device before, but this is the first time I've seen him plug a USB into it. I'm guessing this device is somewhat important... I'm quite nervous about this show, to be honest. It looks great and I want it to do well but if I'm not satifsfied by an early explanation of the physics behind the blackout then I will most likely stop watching after a few episodes.
You are right there. We never saw it in that particular order before but we already had seen basically everything from the promo's released earlier in this supposed sneek peek. Why would they bother calling it a sneek peek and releasing this when we have already seen 99% of it already? We got only an extra few seconds that we haven't seen before and it didn't amount to much. My question is what is the point then?
I know I'm being all doom and gloom about genre shows on network TV, but I really feel like if Revolution doesn't get great numbers after the massive promotion it has gotten we may be in for a very long drought of new genre shows. In part I want it to do well just so I can see more high-concept genre shows get picked up in the future.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
We've already seen this.
ReplyDelete...UYYYYY....TOTAL BLACK OUT...AIRPLANES ..FALLING..sound IMPOSSIBLE..BUT COULD HAPPEN... this will be our future very scary
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'd not seen it before
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it :)
ReplyDeleteNBC is promoting the shit out of this show. Hopefully it lives up to its hype.
ReplyDeleteWe've already seen almost every part of this video, but it's still great.
ReplyDeleteHope the show will do well.

ReplyDeleteWell, even if it was new sneak peek, there's nothing we haven't previously seen on all the promos.
ReplyDeletethis is gonna be another FlashFoward. Starts with a big hipe and finishes with terrible ratings.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen all of this in this order yet. A lot of it I had seen yes, but not this one in particular.

ReplyDeleteI agree! We def have to show our support.
