    This is probably the opening scene of the episode, and they will later show it again with context at the end. I can only assume it is either Caleb or Hannah's mom.

    i think its Mona, They wouldn't ask emily if an adult is her friend and she wouldn't hesitate to say that caleb was a friend as he helped them a lot. Hannah still cares for mona but the other 2 are not affected at all, they would be if was caleb, he helped spencer recently.

    if it's Mona, I hope she's not dead. Otherwise it would've been a waste to keep her alive in the first place and make Janel Parrish a regular.

    Hmm, never thought about it being Mona. I agree with CTRO5, though. Why promote the actress to a regular for only 12 episodes (and she appeared in maybe half of them)?
