*has a stroke, dies and sees angels and demons* How am I suppose to wait....5 months for the next episode?! I hope the DVD has about 20 more minutes of footage of the Mike/Harvey scene. lol
USA definitely went 2 for 2 in knocking it out of the park for summer finales tonight! Loved seeing Harvey in Mike's shoes getting sparked and being "Dazed and Confused" together - loved it (and the mention of the can opener - gonna have to go back and figure out what that refers to) and Mike channeling his best Harvey selling the "signed affadavit" that was the lynchpin to Hardman's ouster - disappointed in Mike making the bad decisions with Tess, Special kudos to Megan M for the awesome performance as Rachel in supporting a grieving Mike, to trying to keep a level head to the crushing look of betrayed disgust she gave Mike when she found out about Tess... great work by everyone... I do have to give major props to the writers for the dialogue and having Donna say, "Don't you dare touch his balls!".... lol
WOW! I couldn't believe they actually didn't leave the vote up in the air or not waiting to oust the dick. I still like Louis, so sue me. Can't wait until January (it's better than summer 2013).
It was little bit worried thinking those traitor bastard winning but a good therapeutic relax funny use of weed could help solve a mayor betray of his chief (ex) boss to gain money and power.
Only wish Hardman was still in charge for awhile longer. I like plots when the tyrant's in charge and the good guys have stay in the shadows scheming to take back their freedom.
This is def my favorite summer show. It blew season 1 out of the water (and season 1 was already good) but season 2 was just incredible! I am really sorry that we will have to wait until January to see more of them. The characters are just amazing, and the scene in this episode of Mike and Harvey stone talking was one of the best scenes of any tv shows I have seen lately. Amazing! And all the acting was top notch!
Wow... a fantastic finale to end a fantastic summer season. I can't get over how brilliant the writing is on this show - the dialogue is some of the best on television. I can't wait until it starts up again this winter!
I loved the finale. It was almost 100% amazing, I just have one qualm with both the writers and the fandom in general:
I will never understand the hero worship that Donna’s character get’s on Suits. I’ve finally brought myself to watch the flashback episode, and my fears were confirmed.I feel like the writing Donna (as well as Rachel) recieves is some of the laziest and dullest writing on the show. Her jokes, that are supposed to be seen as witty, are just plain old vulgar and elementary most of the time (endless jokes about balls and joking about Harvey being emasculated by Jessica). I’m sorry, but that’s not witty to me, it’s lazy. The endless self-proclamations of greatness. “I know everything”, “I’m the best secretary ever”, etc. Really? All I’ve seen is you sitting around, gossiping, and listening in on phone calls. I am not trying to say she isn’t a great secretary, but the writers aren’t doing her any favors by having her proclaim her greatness rather than just showing her being a great secretary.I honestly hate when she comes on my screen because her scenes (along with Rachel’s in some episodes) are almost always useless and ordinary. And it’s painful to watch because apart from those scenes, Suits is an above-par, nearly perfect show.I’m not saying I hate Donna all together. I think her character is funny and has a lot of potential, but if the writers don’t step it up, I don’t know how much more I can take.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
All I have to and can say is Harvey and Mike blazed. Man, what an summer finale!
